TUESDAY, WEEK 1, APRIL 2014 SMACKDOWN RECAP
KANE CRASHES THE PARTY People who thought they would be free of the Authority on Tuesday were pretty disappointed to see Kane show up and trying to corner Daniel Bryan as he was celebrating with the fans. A melee then started with The Shield and John Cena coming out to chase away Kane and Randy Orton. Kane then announced the main event for tonight, consisting of John Cena and any Shield member against him and Randy Orton. THE MIZ IS LOOKING FOR TAG TEAM GOLD The Miz received the Usos on MizTV who irritated him with their constant jab at the tag team division. He vowed to take the titles away from them, but they made fun of his injury. Miz ended the segment early and made a mission to find a new tag team to manage. He found Bad News Barrett and Titus O'Neil, and found opponents in the form of Cody Rhodes and Goldust. Miz kept his promise to both Barrett and O'Neil and they ended up winning the match following The Miz's distraction. However, Barrett wasn't satisfied with O'Neil and attacked him following the match, asking Miz to find him a better partner. THE SWAGGER CHALLENGE IS A SUCCESSAfter losing to Cesaro on Monday night, Swagger's ego was bruised, but he vowed to take down Cesaro one day. Zeb Colter took a jab at Paul Heyman, who doesn't Mondays too, before daring anyone to come out and face Swagger. The challenge was answered by Dolph Ziggler, who would do anything to win a match to get noticed, accompanied by Kelly Kelly. It's unclear what the former Divas Champion will do to help The Showoff, but it didn't work tonight as Swagger was victorious, forcing Ziggler to tap to the Patriot Lock. THE TWINS WIN AGAINST A DISTRACTED AJ LEE AJ Lee wasn't her usual self in this short tag team match and was distracted by the titantron showing her gym bag getting stolen, so she missed an opportunity to break a pinfall attempt after the twins worked their magic. BRAY WYATT IS GETTING WEIRDER BY THE SECONDIt looks like Bray Wyatt's heart wasn't in it this week on SmackDown. After he was carried to the ring by Harper and Rowan, Bray started the match with great momentum, only to walking out of the match, claiming to hear a voice calling him from the back, leaving Sheamus all alone in the ring MAIN EVENT TROUBLE FOR KANE After a hard hitting main event battle he ended up winning alongside Randy Orton, Kane was attacked by Daniel Bryan and The Shield after the bell. Rather than helping him, Randy Orton, sensing the disadvantage, ran away, leaving Kane to be triple powerbombed by the Shield to end this edition of SmackDown. COMPLETE RESULTS Bad News Barrett and Titus O'Neil def. Rhodes Dynasty (Cody Rhodes and Goldust) The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) def. AJ Lee and Tamina Jack Swagger def. Dolph Ziggler Sheamus def. Bray Wyatt Kane and Randy Orton def. John Cena and Roman Reigns

THURSDAY, WEEK 1, APRIL 2014 NXT RECAP
WILLIAM REGAL ANNOUNCEMENT INTERRUPTED William Regal had an annoucement to make to kick off the show but was never able to say it after a hacker took control of the show and played embarassing moments of Regal's WWE career on the big screen. Regal finally gave up on the annoucement and said it will have to wait until next week THE ASCENSION STEAMROLL COMPETITION The NXT Tag Team champions were challenged by a duo of local wrestlers, who despite some strong support from the crowd, didn't manage to beat the Ascension, who controlled the short match from start to finish. Let this be a warning for any potential challengers. THE ROUGEAUS ASK REGAL FOR AN OPPORTUNITYNone other than former Intercontinental Champion Jacques Rougeau and his son Cedric entered William Regal's office. What Regal expected to be a friendly visit by a WWE alumn soon turned sour after Jacques expressed his disdain of Regal's brand and urging him to go back to the old ways, when big, bulky wrestlers like his son were starts, instead of the flip-flopping diminutive wrestlers they have today. Rougeau then pointed out that it's supposed to be a developmental territory, but he sees people almost 40-year old. To prove his point, he asked for a match against Yoshi Tatsu, that Cedric Rougeau easily won, overpowering the former WWE star. PAIGE IS BORED Paige has held the NXT Womens Championship for 269 days and his running out of challengers. She then named everyone she beat to win the title and demanded a main roster call-up. It attracted the attention of several WWE Divas in attendance, who warned her that she'll have to prove herself first, with a match against WWE veteran Natalya set for next week. MAIN EVENT SURPRISE Early in the show, out of mutual respect, NXT champion Adrian Neville agreed to a non-title match with Tyson Kidd. What many didn't expect, was that Kidd would win the match. Neville was accompanied to the ring by his British Ambision partner Oliver Grey, but Grey turned on Neville by nailing him with a steel chair behind the referee's back, handing Tyson Kidd a pinfall win over the champ. COMPLETE RESULTS The Ascension def. Local Talents Cedric Rougeau w/ Jacques Rougeau def. Yoshi Tatsu Tyson Kidd def. Adrian Neville w/ Oliver Grey (Non-title)

BREAKING NEWSJohn Cena and Dave Bautista have signed to play a major part in a blockbuster movie and are expected to miss significant time while they're away filming. No words yet on when they're leaving, but apparently WWE has enough time to wrap up their storylines with both workers.

MONDAY, WEEK 2, APRIL 2014 RAW RECAP
TROUBLE AT THE TOP Kane had an argument with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon after Randy Orton bailed on him on SmackDown. They assured Kane he still has their full support and that it won't happen again. They also said they're working on getting some backup for Tuesday night. IMPROMPTU TITLE DEFENSE After The Shield threatened to attack the Authority once again, Triple H reminded that he is the US Champion after all and it's been a while since he defended the belt. He then gave a title match to Randy Orton in the main event and if Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins interfere, he'd lose the title. Daniel Bryan was also warned that if he did anything to interfere with the Authority tonight, they'd strip him of his title, which made Bryan walk out of the arena in protest. THE CESARO CHALLENGE IS A SUCCESSCesaro has been on fire under Paul Heyman's management, winning against this week's challenger, R-Truth. After the match, Heyman and the Swiss Superman were interrupted by Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter who challenged them to a match at Extreme Rules. Heyman denied the challenge, saying Swagger should prove himself worthy first. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT Stephanie McMahon took the letter what Big E said last week when he told the WWE Universe that he could take on anyone in the locker room and kickstarted a 16-men tournament to determine the #1 Contender for Big E's Intercontinental Championship. Three matches were happended moments later on RAW, with 3MB's Drew McIntyre defeating a returning Rob Van Dam, Santino Marella defeating The Great Khali and Sheamus defeating Titus O'Neil. The tournament bracket was released after the show in WWE's social media's platform.[/div] THE START OF A NEW FRIENDSHIP?Santino Marella and R-Truth have been appearing on television together a lot lately, with R-Truth helping Santino win his match against The Great Khali. Who knows what can happen with these two ? AJ LEE'S STALKER STRIKES AGAIN Followinf their pinfall win over AJ Lee and Tamina on SmackDown, Lee's bodyguard wanted revenge against Brie Bella and the two faced off in a singles match that was once again interrupted by an unknown attacker with the lights out, knocking down Brie and the imposing Tamina in seconds. NEW ALLIES FOR CENAThe Wyatt Family had John Cena cornered after the latter called out Wyatt for being all words, no actions and this time around Wyatt sent Luke Harper after Cena in a singles match. The same scenario repeated itself with Harper losing quickly only to get jumped by Rowan and Wyatt afterwards. Only this time, the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos came running out to save Cena. The Wyatts backed out from the fair fight. MAIN EVENT ROLLER COASTER Right before the main event, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins broke into Triple H's office to keep an eye on the COO, Stephanie to make sure they wouldn't interfere in the main event match. As Randy Orton made his entrance, he was viciously attacked by Batista and took his place in the match, which was authorized by Kane. In the end, Dean Ambrose retained his title after Randy Orton came back for revenge against Batista. COMPLETE RESULTSCesaro w/Paul Heyman def. R-Truth w/Santino Marella Drew McIntyre def. TUESDAY, WEEK 2, APRIL 2014 SMACKDOWN RECAP
KANE DRUNK WITH POWER Triple H and Stephanie McMahon gave Kane the power to do whatever he wanted on Tuesday nights and they'll probably regret that next Monday. With a lack of clear challenger for Daniel Bryan's WWE title, Kane made his old tag team partner sign a contract agreeing to an Extreme Rules match at the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules event, as well as putting Randy Orton in a main event match against Seth Rollins. The INTERCONTINENTAL CONTENDER TOURNAMENT CONTINUES under Big E's watchful eye, the tournament continued and had several high profile superstars moving on. Bad News Barrett defeated Zack Ryder, Alberto Del Rio defeated R-Truth and Damien Sandow defeated WWE veteran Mark Henry to move one step closer to a match against Big E at Extreme Rules. THE MIZ CONTINUES TO LOOK FOR A TAG TEAMLast week on SmackDown, the Miz promised Bad News Barrett he'd lead him to tag team gold, but with Miz's bad back, he has to look for the perfect partner. They came out to audition Alberto Del Rio during his match against Mark Henry, but Del Rio flat out refused their partnership. TROUBLE ALREADY? R-Truth helped Santino win his match against The Great Khali on Monday night and Santino tried his best to help R-Truth win against Alberto Del Rio, but in the end, he ended up distracting Truth instead, angering his new friend. NO MERCY FROM BRAY WYATTWyatt had a new toy with him at ringside, talking to a clothed, detached head carried by Erick Rowan. He defeated Jimmy Uso in minutes and kept talking to the head all the way to the back. John Cena tried to get to him, but he was blocked by Harper and Rowan. ANOTHER SUCCESFUL SWAGGER CHALLENGE As he tries to prove that he's a worthy opponent for Cesaro, Jack Swagger hosted another open challenge, this time defeating Ryback in a competitive match. After the match, Swagger and Colter called out Cesaro and Heyman, but received no answer. ORTON BEAT UP DESPITE THE NEW BACKUPRandy Orton was about to hit Rollins with the RKO to win the main event when he was jumped by the rest of The Shield, who then attempted to hit Orton with the Triple Powerbomb, but where interrupted by the New Age Outlaws, the backup sent by the Authority. Just like at Wrestlemania, The Shield weren't bothered by the former Tag Team Champions from yesteryear and managed to beat up Orton anyway to end the show. THURSDAY, WEEK 2, APRIL 2014 NXT RECAP
WILLIAM REGAL ANNOUNCES NEW TITLE After he was rudely interrupted by an unknown hacker, William Regal kicked off the show by announcing the brand new NXT Television Championship and that more details will come soon. He also said there are many more annoucements to come that will shape the future of NXT. WILLIAM REGAL'S NEW BODYGUARD It was a busy day for William Regal who also hired a new bodyguard, Danny Burch. The tough as nails British brawler stands by Regal and will defend him from whatever comes, including that pesky hacker. THE ROUGEAUS CONTINUE TO PROVE THEIR POINTAfter claiming that wrestling should go back to its old-school roots, Cedric Rougeau manhandled WWE Superstar Sin Cara at Full Sail University with a crushing powerbomb. The impressive showing forced the hand of commissioner Regal to sign him to a new deal. STARS LINE UP FOR A TV TITLE OPPORTUNITY Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze jumped at the opportunity to showcase their talent for the newly announced NXT TV Title and had an all-out match that ended in a draw after both competitors were counted out. ADRIAN NEVILLE CALLS OUT OLIVER GREYNXT Champion Adrian Neville was cowardly attacked by his former tag team partner Oliver Grey last week on NXT and Neville asked Grey to come and fight like a man, but Grey never showed up, to the disappointment of the Full Sail Crowd. PAIGE PAYS HER DUES After she claimed that she was overdue for main roster call-up, NXT Womens' Champion Paige was visited down in NXT by multiple WWE Divas who warned her that she must prove herself against real competition before making that claim. Natalya, Tamina and Layla were at Full Sail and Layla challenged Paige to a non-title match in the main event. Paige ended up winning a clean, highly-contested match by pinfall. MONDAY, WEEK 3, APRIL 2014 RAW RECAP
MAIN EVENT SET FOR EXTREME RULES It's safe to say that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon weren't happy at Kane's actions on SmackDown, but despite their best efforts, Kane's contract with Daniel Bryan is airtight and it looks like Kane will face Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules, despite Randy Orton's disagreement. Kane wanted an Extreme Rules match and asked the Authority to back him, and Triple H assured him they have a plan. SHORT-LIVED BACK UP FOR THE AUTHORITY Triple H hired his former DX buddies Road Dogg and Billy Gunn to act like an insurance policy against the Shield, but after an impromptu match in which the New Age Outlaws were quickly defeated by the Shield, they walked out and told Triple H they were done playing his puppets for now, leaving The Authority to find someone else to act as their enforcers. IS KELLY KELLY DOLPH ZIGGLER'S GOOD LUCK CHARM ?Since Kelly Kelly returned and allied herself to Dolph Ziggler, he has been on a hot streak after suffering back-to-back losses to Brodus Clay and Jack Swagger, he bounced back in the Intercontinental #1 Contender tournament with back-to-back wins against Fandango and Bad News Barrett. THE ASSAILANT REVEALED Over the past few weeks, an unknown attacker was terrorizing the Divas Division, focusing on AJ Lee and her opponents. She struck again this week, knocking out Nikki Bella and Tamina during their match, only this time, she didn't flee in time. It turns out it's none other than former WWE Diva Kharma! When asked to explain her actions, she said she is acting on someone else's behalf, but she agrees with her boss' assesment that no one is good enough to challenge AJ Lee and she has been proving it week after week.
HEAVY FAVORITE SHEAMUS KNOCKED OUT EARLYMany thought former World Champion Sheamus would go on to win the tournament to face Big E at Extreme Rules, but Sheamus was defeated by Alberto Del Rio, to no fault of his own. In a bid to find new henchmen, Triple H interfered in the middle of the match and knocked out Alberto Del Rio with a sledgehammer, giving him the win by DQ. A furious Sheamus didn't agree and almost hit the COO with a Brogue Kick, but got hit by his sledgehammer instead. DESPITE THE WIN, CESARO'S NIGHT ENDS IN PAIN Cesaro hosted another Cesaro challenge, this time answered by WWE veteran Christian. After a competitive match, the Swiss Superman continued on his hot streak and pinned Christian following a brutal Neutralizer. After the match, Heyman and Cesaro were interrupted by Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger. Swagger overpowered his former tag team partner, worn down from his match and forced him to tap to the Patriot Lock has a powerless Heyman looked on. Swagger didn't let go until Heyman agreed to a match between Cesaro and Swagger at Extreme Rules and he eventually did. Both men will fight until one of them quits. IS BRAY WYATT POSSESSED ?The Wyatt Family is usually a weird bunch, but they took it to a whole new level. As the group was supposed to square off against John Cena and The Usos, Bray Wyatt's eyes appeared to be rolled back and kept screaming to his severed head during the match, eventually retreating to the back, mid match. He came back running and unloaded on John Cena with a steel chair, ending the match in a DQ. HAS THE MIZ FOUND A NEW CLIENT ?Right before the match between Damien Sandow and Kofi Kingston started, The Miz and Bad News Barrett and officially declared this match to be an audition. As they joined the commentary booth, they said, Sandow seemed like the perfect candidate and their choice to win the tournament. During the closing moments of the match, as Kofi was going on the top rope, Miz distracted the referee and the Barrett pushed Kofi down, gift wrapping the win for Sandow. WHAT IS TRIPLE H'S MASTER PLAN ? Kane wasn't The Authority's first choice to face Daniel Bryan and they need to make sure Bryan is worn down heading to Extreme Rules. As part of his master plan, Triple H scheduled a handicap match putting Orton and Kane against Daniel Bryan in the main event. The two cooperated at first, but near the end of the match, Orton RKOd Kane, gifting Bryan the win. As Orton was leaving the arena, he was attacked by Batista who demanded to speak to Triple H, but sadly for him, he already left the arena COMPLETE RESULTSThe Shield (Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins) def. TUESDAY, WEEK 3, APRIL 2014 SMACKDOWN RECAP
SWAGGER SHOWS OFF THEN REGRETS IT Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter hosted another edition of the Swagger open challenge, thinking they'd be safe from Cesaro, thinking he wasn't in the arena like last week. Swagger defeated Titus O'Neil and continued to ragdoll him around after the bell, telling Cesaro that he's coming for him and he'll regret disrespecting him. Much later that evening, as Swagger was leaving the locker room area, he was jumped by Cesaro who hit the Neutralizer on the concrete floor to down his former tag team partner. He then told Colter they'd regret challenging him. INTERCONTINENTAL TROUBLE Big E Langston has been pretty quiet since the tournament was announced to determine his opponent for Extreme Rules. The semi-finals were held on SmackDown. Santino Marella faced off against Alberto Del Rio while Dolph Ziggler faced Damien Sandow. The cinderella story of the tournament, Santino, prevailed against the former WWE champion, thanks to R-Truth and moved on to the Finals. To ensure that something like this wouldn't happen in the other semi-final match, Big E warned The Miz not to interfere in the other match as he gifted Sandow the win last week. It didn't stop the Miz from interfering. Accompanied by Bad News Barrett, he prevented Ziggler's manager Kelly to Kelly from grabbing his foot to place it under the bottom rope, ending Ziggler's win streak and knocking him out of the tournament. After the match, Big E chased down The Miz, but was chased off by both Barrett and Sandow. KANE MAKES ANOTHER QUESTIONABLE DECISIONKane was given full power to do whatever he wants, but if he keeps making these kind of decisions, The Authority might strip him of his power and give it to someone else. Batista took advantage of that and booked himself in a title match against Dean Ambrose at Extreme Rules. He might have earned that title shot when he drew with Ambrose on RAW, but he isn't exactly the most deserving challenger. In a way to get back at his bosses who had their fair share of trouble with Batista, Kane gave him the title match. The Shield then made fun of Batista, acknowledging the "You can't wrestle" chants directed at him, which drew him furious. SHEAMUS COMPLIES WITH THE AUTHORITY The Celtic Warrior lost to Alberto Del Rio on RAW thanks to Stephanie McMahon and Triple H who attempted to recruit him in the Authority. While The Great White initially refused, Stephanie threatened to fire him if he didn't comply. This week on SmackDown, Sheamus remained ambiguous as to whether he joined the Authority, but was later seen beating up the WWE Champion backstage. Sheamus then explained that's what is best for his career. TWO NEW MATCHES SET FOR EXTREME RULESBray Wyatt had a bust night despite not setting foot in the ring. Speaking from his compound, Wyatt vowed to get revenge on John Cena, while assuring the WWE Universe a punishment is coming for the Usos for siding with him. Wyatt then challenged Cena to a match at Extreme Rules and issued a challenge to the Usos to defend their titles against The Wyatt Family. After all three superstars accepted the challenges, not backing out of a fight, Wyatt told them they just made a huge mistake, as he has a new friend by his side, but the camera cut before we were able to see Bray's new friend. KHARMA KEPT IN CHECK BY TAMINAAJ Lee was enjoying the night off after her title defense against Nikki Bella at Extreme Rules was made official, Kharma tried to break into AJ Lee's locker room, but was caught by Tamina who tried to know who Kharma's working for, but wouldn't get an answer. She then told Tamina that they should watch their back at Extreme Rules.
ANOTHER HANDICAP MATCH, DIFFERENT RESULT Daniel Bryan emerged victorious from a handicap match against Orton and Kane on Monday Night after Orton betrayed Kane, but he didn't have such luck on SmackDown. After Kane booked him in another handicap match and told the Shield they'be suspended if they tried to interfere, he was beat down by Sheamus backstage. In the main event, Daniel couldn't replicate his magic and lost the match against the team of Orton and Sheamus. There was some tension between the two new partners, as Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick on Orton to steal the pin on Bryan. COMPLETE RESULTS Jack Swagger w/ Zeb Colter def.
