WWE '07 - The Show Must Go On!

RAW INTRO + HBK vs. HHH TONIGHT! (87%)
Live from the Staples Center, Monday Night RAW kicks off with the intro, and after pyros go off JR and King welcome us in and on-screen graphics show Triple H vs. 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels to determine the #1 Contender for John Cena's WWE Championship.

ORTON CRASHES THE PARTY (78%)
“To Be Loved” is abruptly cut off by “Burn In My Light” and Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. Orton sarcastically asks the crowd if they missed him and smirks when they boo him. Orton says Cody Rhodes cost him some time in the prime of his career, and while he will deal with that when the time is right, he says he needs to deal with someone else first. Orton says Jeff Hardy inserted himself into the picture and should have never gotten involved. Orton says Hardy is going to learn a very hard lesson when you get in other people's business. Just as he says that “Loaded” hits and Jeff Hardy comes out on the stage. Orton doesn't appreciate the interruption but Hardy tells him that Orton's been walking around with an inflated ego for years and it's time someone puts him in check. Hardy challenges Orton to a match RIGHT NOW!!! The crowd pops for the challenge and after initially hesitating, Orton accepts and Referee Jack Doan heads out to the ring as RAW goes to break.

MATCH 1: RANDY ORTON VS. JEFF HARDY (81%, 3*)
The match was already a couple of minutes in when the show returned from commercial and Orton was in control. Orton had the upper hand for the middle of the contest and after hitting his signature inverted headlock backbreaker, he stalked Hardy for an 'RKO.' When Hardy got to his feet, Orton jumped to hit the 'RKO' but Hardy threw him off and Orton took a back bump. Hardy then grabbed Orton's legs and pulled them over his head before hitting a double leg drop on his legs. The move trapped Orton and Hardy was able to get the shocking three-count. Hardy had his hand raised for a second before Orton tried to attack him but Hardy jumped through the ropes and celebrated his stunning win as Orton was irate in the ring.

CADE & MURDOCH DONE??? (59%)
The camera cuts backstage to Todd Grisham who is standing by with Lance Cade. Grisham mentions that Cade requested this time and asks him what is on his mind. Before Cade could get a word in, Trevor Murdoch comes into the picture and Cade lets out a sigh. Murdoch asks what's going on because Cade hasn't returned any of his calls lately. Cade tells Murdoch to shut it and that he's tired of being weighed down. He calls Murdoch an “anchor” and tells him he's done. Cade walks away as Murdoch puts his hands in the air. Murdoch looks at Grisham in a state of shock as we go back ringside.

MATCH 2: DREW MCINTYRE W/WILLIAM REGAL VS. SANTINO MARELLA W/MARIA (58%, 1*)
William Regal's protégé, Drew McIntyre was in action next against Santino Marella. Regal and Maria were out at ringside for their respective parties. Other than a brief flurry where Santino put a string of moves together, McIntyre dominated the match. After putting an end to Santino's momentum with a headbutt, McIntyre put Santino away with a double underhook implant DDT dubbed the 'Future Shock.'

WORLD TAG TITLE MATCH TONIGHT!!! (73%)
A graphic is shown for a World Tag Team Title Match between The World's Greatest Tag Team and London & Kendrick happening tonight after London & Kendrick ruined WGTT's celebration last week.

THE 'SAMOAN BULLDOZER' WANTS A CHALLENGE (76%)
Intercontinental Champion, Umaga is in the ring with Armando Alejandro Estrada, and he doesn't appear to be in a great mood. Umaga almost seems unhinged as Estrada tells the crowd that Umaga is looking for a fight. Estrada starts to say that 'The Samoan Bulldozer' wants a challenge before 'Hell Will Be Calling Your Name' hits and Bobby Lashley makes his way out. Lashley and Umaga were in a big-time feud earlier in the year and it appears Lashley is answering the call.

MATCH 3: BOBBY LASHLEY VS. UMAGA W/ARMANDO ALEJANDRO ESTRADA (72%, 2*)
Lashley stepped up to the plate and it resulted in a brawl of a match as the two just beat each other down. Both men hit big-time power moves but it was after Lashley hit a running powerslam that he set up for a Spear. Umaga got to his feet but smartly dropped to the mat and rolled out of the ring to avoid it. But then Umaga walked over to the timekeeper's table and on instruction by Estrada, grabbed his championship and started to walk up the ramp. Lashley wanted no part of winning by countout and went out after him but when he turned him around, Umaga used his IC Title and cracked Lashley over the head, getting intentionally disqualified. Umaga then picked up Lashley and hit him with a 'Samoan Spike,' leaving Lashley gasping for air on the entrance ramp.
WINNER: Bobby Lashley by intentional disqualification in 8:23

JOHN CENA BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW (88%)
The WWE Champion is backstage with Todd Grisham and Cena is hyped up. Cena asks Staples Center how they are doing which causes them to erupt and be heard by Cena. Cena says that tonight LA is going to get a helluva Main Event when two of the very best go up against one another to see who will challenge me for this (showcases title). Grisham asks Cena if he would prefer one over the other and Cena smirks and says that he's going to leave that answer alone. Cena says it doesn't matter if it's Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Doink The Clown, or the janitor he just passed in the hall moments ago, IF YOU WANT SOME, COME GET SOME!!!

MATCH 4: THE WORLD'S GREATEST TAG TEAM © VS. LONDON & KENDRICK – WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP (72%, 3*)
Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas made their first defense of the World Tag Team Titles against Paul London and Brian Kendrick. The match went back and forth for the majority of the contest, with the tag champs isolating Kendrick in the middle, and London getting a hot tag and cleaning house toward the latter part of the match. The end of the match came with London and Benjamin in the ring. Kendrick would then take Haas out with a corkscrew plancha on the outside. Back in the ring, Benjamin was looking to hit his 'Dragon Whip' kick but London ducked and then hit a Northern Lights Suplex. London went to the top rope and looked to hit 'The 450.' but as London was jumping, Benjamin rolled away. London had the wherewithal to adjust in mid-flight and land on his feet but Benjamin was there to get behind him and roll him up. Benjamin then tossed his feet on the ropes for leverage and referee Chad Patton didn't see and the World's Greatest Tag Team would retain their titles.

CANDICE INTERVIEW + BACKSTAGE BRAWL (72%)
Women's Champion, Candice Michelle is backstage with Todd Grisham and is asked about her title defense versus Mickie James at Cyber Sunday. After giving her respect to Mickie, Grisham asks about Maryse's comments last week. Candice starts to answer when Maryse enters the shot and gets in Candice's face. The two bicker for a few seconds before Maryse slaps Candice across the face. Candice lunges at Maryse and the two tussle as backstage staff and road agents come in to break it up.

***MAIN EVENT*** MATCH 5: TRIPLE H VS. SHAWN MICHAELS – #1 CONTENDER'S MATCH FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP (91%, 4*)
Here it is...the massive Main Event for the Los Angeles crowd as two men with rich history face off for a shot at the top prize. Both make their entrances to massive reactions and when the bell rings, HHH and HBK shake hands. The first couple of minutes had both men feel each other out but after HBK chopped Trips pretty aggressively in the chest, the fun and games were over and both men's seriousness for the moment shone through. Triple H was able to turn the match in his favor after catching HBK with his signature running high knee. Triple H went for a 'Pedigree' and had HBK's arms locked but Michaels was able to spin out of it and hit a short-range 'Sweet Chin Music.' After a delay, HBK crawled over but Triple H kicked out at 2.99! Michaels then slowly climbed the top rope to hit his patented elbow drop. Both men were down but then HBK did his kip-up and the crowd came unglued. HBK went to the corner and started to “tune up the band.” Triple H started to stir and Michaels was ready to start the kick but all of a sudden, he was tripped up! It's MR. KENNEDY! Kennedy pulls HBK out of the ring while on the other end, King Booker has pulled Triple H out of the ring. Referee Mike Chioda calls for the bell and it is a no-contest.
RESULT: No Contest due to outside interference in 14:03

MONDAY NIGHT B(RAW)L (92%)
Kennedy and Booker would beat up on HBK and HHH, respectively until “My Time Is Now” hit and WWE Champion, John Cena sprinted down the ramp to make the save. Kennedy met Cena at the end of the ramp but Cena knocked Kennedy down with a right hand. Meanwhile, Triple H started to come back at Booker. Booker rolled back in the ring to get away from HHH but ran right into Cena, who entered the ring and dropped him with an 'F-U.' Michaels then entered the ring and he and Triple H stood face-to-face while Cena stepped back and watched. Both men would have liked to have finished the match to prove who was better but they shook and then Cena got in between them and raised an arm of each as the show ended.

LAST WEEK (80%)
ECW opens with a video recap of last week when CM Punk defended his ECW Championship against Tommy Dreamer. The match was a great back-and-forth before Paul Burchill made his return and ruined the match. Burchill would then 'Curbstomp' CM Punk's head into a chair again. Joey Styles then mentions Punk is not here tonight.

FOLEY ADDRESSES THE CROWD (82%)
ECW General Manager, Mick Foley is in the ring to start the show and talks about what we just saw. Foley said it was unfortunate and that there would be a resolution to the Punk/Dreamer match at a later time. Cue “Ain't No Make Believe” as Johnny Nitro comes out and interrupts Foley. Nitro complains that Foley is giving Dreamer another shot when it should be him who is getting it. Foley tells Nitro that he has an opponent for him tonight...the returning Elijah Burke! Burke was last seen challenging Nitro for the ECW Championship and Nitro injured him in the match. Nitro is less than thrilled about it as Foley tells him to “Have a Nice Day!”

MATCH 1: BIG DADDY V W/MATT STRIKER VS. HARDCORE HOLLY (60%, 1*)
The big man was in action against Smackdown!'s Hardcore Holly. Holly is obviously tough as nails and gave Big Vis a good fight but after uncharacteristically going to the top rope to hit a double-axe handle, Hardcore Holly was caught by Big Daddy V and slammed to the mat. Big Daddy V then hit his splash to squash Holly and get the victory.

DREAMER WANTS BURCHILL (87%)
The camera cuts to the back where Tommy Dreamer enters Mick Foley's office and is asking to get his hands on Paul Burchill. Foley has to calm Dreamer down who looks like he is out for blood. Foley says that next week, it will be Burchill vs. Dreamer.

MATCH 2: MIKE KNOX VS. NUNZIO (67%, 1.5*)
Joey Styles and Tazz talked about The Miz during Knox's entrance and Nunzio never had a shot as Knox was dominant. Knox just brutally manhandled Nunzio before hitting his 'Knox-Out' to mercifully end the contest.

***MAIN EVENT*** MATCH 3: JOHNNY NITRO VS. ELIJAH BURKE (68%, 2*)
After Nitro made his entrance, “Don't Waste My Time” hit and the crowd popped for the returning Elijah Burke. Burke seemed to play off the crowd and even high-fived a few of them coming down the aisle. Burke lost about a month ago to Nitro but seemed to have an answer for everything, frustrating Nitro. Nitro would take advantage later in the match after hitting a springboard roundhouse and following it up with a standing Shooting Star Press. After a near-fall, Nitro pounded the mat and then dragged Burke near the ropes. Nitro went for 'Starship Pain' but Burke got his knees up. Burke then hit a combination of strikes, culminating in an uppercut that sent Nitro back into the corner. Burke lowered his knee pads and hit the 'Elijah Express' to get the victory. Burke got a nice hand for winning and ended the show celebrating as if he was turning face.

SMACKDOWN! INTRO + SHOW RUNDOWN (75%)
“Rise Up” hits signaling the Friday Night Smackdown! intro. Michael Cole and Ernest 'The Cat' Miller welcome us in and some on-screen graphics show the rundown for tonight's show. Chavo Guerrero defends his Cruiserweight Championship in the Main Event against The Amazing Red and MVP hosts a special edition of the 'VIP Lounge' with a guest to be determined.

MATCH 1: BATISTA & RIC FLAIR © VS. THE STAR SQUAD – WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP (73%, 1*)
The Tag Titles were on the line after Kenny Dykstra and Nick Nemeth interrupted Batista and Flair last week. Surprisingly, The Star Squad held their own in the match and even controlled Flair for a bit with some isolation and quick tags. Eventually. 'The Animal' got the hot tag and cleaned house. Batista hit Dykstra with a bone-crunching spinebuster and then signaled for a 'Batista Bomb' but Nemeth tried to intervene. Batista would catch Nemeth with a 'Batista Bomb' and then tag in Flair. Flair locked in a Figure-Four and Dykstra would tap, giving the dub to the Tag Champs.
WINNERS: Batista & Flair by submission in 8:20

JBL & COMPANY RUIN THE MOMENT (79%)
As Flair's famous theme starts playing through the arena, and the Tag Champs are handed their gold, JBL, Deuce & Domino jump them from behind! Deuce & Domino double-team Batista while JBL beats up on Flair. The Star Squad then recover and help in the beatdown. JBL directs traffic and tells the other four men to tie Batista's arms in the ropes. Batista is yelling expletives at JBL and starts kicking to escape and The Star Squad go to the outside to hold a leg each to avoid that. Deuce & Domino are slapping around Flair, who is trying to get to his feet while JBL is telling Batista that “you should have let him retire.” JBL tells Deuce & Domino to pick Flair up and JBL nails him with a 'Clothesline From Hell' as Batista can only watch. JBL is not done and tells the former Tag Champs to pick 'The Nature Boy' up again and JBL hits a second. Batista's expression is one of anger to the point of visible tears. The five men leave and after they get to the top of the stage, the refs and backstage staff came down to help Flair out and finally get Batista unhooked from the ropes. Batista goes right to Flair's side while medical personnel come down. Batista is trembling in anger as he stares down a smirking JBL & Company.

EDGE IS UNFAZED (72%)
'The Rated 'R' Superstar' Edge was backstage with his cronies, Hawkins & Ryder. Josh Mathews asks Edge about his thoughts on the Hell In A Cell Match. Mathews mentions that it looked like Edge was freaked out when he heard the news and Edge cuts him off right there. Edge tells Mathews that he's not afraid of 'The Deadman' and said that was evident when he speared him out of his boots last week. Edge says he's gonna end 'Taker in his own playground of destruction at Survivor Series. Strong words from Edge!

MATCH 2: VICTORIA VS. TORRIE WILSON – DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND (61%, 0.5*)
The first match in the tournament for the new Divas Championship was next as Victoria took on Torrie Wilson. Torrie got some shine in the match but she was not resilient enough to overcome the experience of Victoria. Victoria was super aggressive all match and really punished Torrie. Victoria would eventually finish the match with a 'Widow's Peak' to move on in the tournament.
WINNER: Victoria by pinfall in 4:46

CHAVO ON HIS TITLE DEFENSE (73%)
Chavo Guerrero is now backstage with Josh Mathews and is asked about his Cruiserweight Title defense against The Amazing Red in tonight's Main Event. Chavo is very cocky in this interview and tells Mathews that he is the greatest Cruiserweight on this planet. Chavo calls Red impressive since he won the tournament but also says that everyone was fighting just to see who would lose to him.

MATCH 3: MARK HENRY VS. DH SMITH W/TJ WILSON (56%, 0.5*)
One half of The Hart Dynasty was in action next as DH Smith took on the United States Champion, 'The World's Strongest Man,' Mark Henry. Natalya was absent as Michael Cole explained that she would be in her own match later tonight as a part of the Divas Championship Tournament. DH Smith has some size and used it to his advantage, hanging in with Henry for the most part. Smith even hit a shoulder block off the middle rope that knocked Henry off his feet. Smith then tried to emulate his late father, The British Bulldog, and go for a running powerslam, but that went about as well as one could expect. Smith got Henry up in an impressive show of strength, but as soon as he tried to traverse the ring, his legs gave out and Henry's full weight landed on him. Henry then picked up Smith and hit 'The World's Strongest Slam' as TJ Wilson could only watch as Henry got the win.

THE VIP LOUNGE (91%)
Back from a commercial and the ring is set up for MVP's 'VIP Lounge.' The mat is now red with a black leather couch in the ring. “I'm Comin'” hits and MVP and Kristal make their way down to the ring, dressed to the nines. At the end of the ramp, a bouncer unhooks a red velvet rope and allows the couple into the ring. MVP welcomes everyone in and the crowd boos, kind of catching MVP off guard. MVP then compliments Kristal and the two share a quick peck, to which the crowd boos again. MVP starts talking about how excited he is to bring out his guest when "MacMillitant" hits and Smackdown! GM, Teddy Long interrupts. Teddy walks down the aisle and the bouncer stops him before MVP reluctantly tells the bouncer to allow Long in. Teddy gets in the ring and asks MVP what he is even doing out here, because he sure as hell didn't approve the 'VIP Lounge' to happen tonight...nor does he ever want to see this on Smackdown! ever. MVP laughs and Long has a puzzled look on his face. MVP goes on to say that he felt he was wronged last week and that he did go to extreme lengths to get justice. MVP says he didn't need Teddy's approval because his guest tonight is the man who approved him to have the 'VIP Lounge' tonight...the CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD, MR. MCMAHON!!! “No Chance In Hell” hits and the crowd pops as Long looks a little shaken as Vince McMahon struts down to the ring. Of course, the bouncer lifts the rope right away for the Chairman and Vince enters the ring. Vince says it's been a while but lately, he's noticed a lot of things on both shows getting out of control. Vince says that Teddy was not right to punish MVP just because he has a personal issue with him. MVP and Kristal are smirking while Teddy has his head down while McMahon is admonishing him. Mr. McMahon then says to make it up to MVP, he is going to give him a World Championship Match versus Chris Jericho at Survivor Series! MVP shakes Vince's hand as Long doesn't look happy. MVP's smile fades as a loud bang goes off followed by “Break The Walls Down.” World Champ, 'Y2J' Chris Jericho comes out on the stage and he makes fun of MVP for having to grovel for a title match. Y2J tells MVP that he's gonna go crying to Vince after he makes him tap. Long smiles and blurts out “like a little bitch” and MVP stares at him. MVP then lunges towards Teddy but Vince holds him back while yelling at Teddy for acting unprofessional and to leave the ring.

MATCH 4: NATALYA NEIDHART VS. LAYLA – DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND (55%, 0.5*)
The second match tonight for in the Divas Championship Tournament took place as Natalya faced off against ECW's Layla. Layla showcased some of her athleticism as Cole mentioned she had a dancing background but eventually Natalya gained control of the match. After Layla missed a roundhouse kick, Natalya hit a discus clothesline and then finished Layla off with a 'Sharpshooter.' Layla would tap and Natalya moved on in the tourney.
WINNER: Natayla Neidhart by submission in 6:11

BATISTA BARGES INTO TEDDY LONG'S OFFICE (93%)
'The Animal' Batista is then shown barging into Teddy Long's office. Teddy does his best to calm him down but Batista is irate and wants to destroy JBL and the rest of those goons. Long finally calms Batista down and asks how Ric (Flair) is doing and Batista says they are evaluating him for a concussion. Long says he's sorry he wasn't quick enough to get officials down to the ring to stop what happened. Batista says it's not Teddy's fault and that he's going to make them regret what they did.

HANDICAP MATCH NEXT WEEK (86%)
A graphic then pops up as Cole and Cat announce that Edge, Hawkins, and Ryder will take on The Brothers of Destruction in a handicap match next week. Cole wonders who made this match as it favors the heels but nevertheless a big match on the heels of the big Hell In A Cell Match in just 9 days.

***MAIN EVENT*** MATCH 5: CHAVO GUERRERO © VS. THE AMAZING RED – CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP (77%, 2.5*)
The Main Event was next as The Amazing Red got his title shot after winning the Cruiserweight Tournament set up by Vickie Guerrero. Red was on fire in the early going, causing Chavo to regroup on the outside a couple of times. Chavo eventually used some dirty tactics to get back on top and then went to a ground game, trying to limit Red's ability to perform high-flying maneuvers. In the later stages of the match, Red was getting ready to hit Chavo with a springboard move but when Chavo got up, he moved out of the way, and senior referee Nick Patrick took the brunt of the impact. With the ref down, Chavo went to the outside to grab a steel chair. Chavo was about to do what he had done to others in the past as he placed the opened chair over Red's head. As he did that though “Booyaka 619” hits and Chavo goes wide-eyed as the crowd goes nuts. Rey Mysterio is back and runs down the aisle, meeting Chavo halfway. The two start teeing off on another but Rey gets the upper hand and knocks Chavo back with a few rights. Chavo then goes into the ring to retreat from Rey but Red is there to hit him with a 'Red Spike' (a belly-to-back piledriver). Red then goes to the top rope and hits his 'Infrared' 540° corkscrew senton bomb. Red goes for the cover and Nick Patrick recovers to make the three count! Amazing Red has won it!

REY RAISES RED'S ARM (76%)
Amazing Red's music hits as he has become the Cruiserweight Champion. Rey Mysterio enters the ring and hands Red the belt and the two shake hands. Replays are shown of the match and finish, and when it comes back live, Chavo is holding the back of his head as he walks backward up the ramp, gritting his teeth at Mysterio and Red. Mysterio raises Red's arm as Smackdown! ends with a title change.

RAW RECAP (90%)
Monday Night RAW begins with a look back to last week when Triple H and Shawn Michaels went 1-on-1 to determine the #1 Contender to the WWE Championship. The match was spoiled by both Mr. Kennedy and King Booker and currently, there is no resolution as to who John Cena's next challenger is.

THE BOSS IS BACK (92%)
RAW General Manager, Jonathan Coachman starts the show off in the ring. Coach wants to address the crowd after last week's ending. Of course, Coach is getting booed but he fights through it and starts talking about what's next when it comes to Cena's next challenger. All of a sudden, “No Chance In Hell” hits and Mr. McMahon is back on Monday Night RAW! We just saw the chairman on Friday for the first time and he steps in the ring, surprising Coach. Vince welcomes everyone to MONDAY NIGHT RAW!!! Vince says that he's here because it appears Coach doesn't have control of his show either. Vince says that last week's Main Event was a classic that got ruined. The sound of KENNNNNNEDYYY is heard as “Turn Up The Trouble” plays and Mr. Kennedy makes his way out. Mr. McMahon looks pissed and asks Kennedy what he wants and to never interrupt him again. Kennedy apologizes but says that no one wants to see the same old people get title shots and he decided he wasn't going to stand for it. “The Game” by Motorhead then hits and Triple H is out. Vince tells both men that there will be no physicality in anticipation something might occur. Triple H and Kennedy trade barbs on the mic before King Booker and Queen Sharmell make their entrance. Booker talks about how he may not see eye-to-eye with Kennedy but he is united with him on this situation. “Sexy Boy” then hits and this is getting out of control. HBK isn't even really allowed to talk before Vince tells everyone to shut up. Cue the champ! “My Time Is Now” hits and John Cena comes down into the ring. Vince asks if anyone else has something to say because if not, he knows a way to resolve this. Vince goes on to say that Survivor Series is this Sunday and that we are going to have a good ol' 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match. Vince puts Cena, HBK, and HHH on one side and Kennedy and Booker on the other. Vince says it is up to them to fill the rest of their team and then he names the stakes. Each member of the winning side will get a one-on-one WWE Championship Match at a later date. This is other than Cena, obviously but Vince tells Cena especially to choose carefully.

MATCH 1: CANDICE MICHELLE VS. MARYSE (61%, 1*)
After their backstage squabble last week, Candice would face Maryse in a non-title contest. The ladies traded control of the match over the first few minutes but when Candice tried to hit her “Candy Wrapper,” Maryse cheated to win by countering with a school girl roll-up and grabbing the tights.
WINNER: Maryse by pinfall in 6:37

UMAGA VS. LASHLEY @ SURVIVOR SERIES (88%)
A graphic shows that 'The Samoan Bulldozer' Umaga will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Bobby Lashley at Survivor Series. A battle of two big men with some unfinished business.

MATCH 2: WILLIAM REGAL & DREW MCINTYRE VS. THE HIGHLANDERS (65%, 1.5*)
The newer team of Regal & McIntyre squared off against The Highlanders in what turned out to be a dominating victory for the duo. McIntyre was extra aggressive in this matchup, and at one point could be heard yelling that Robbie and Rory were a disgrace to the Scottish. McIntyre, who is also Scottish, finished Rory off with his 'Future Shock' DDT.

A graphic pops up as JR and King discuss tonight's Main Event: Triple H vs. Mr. Kennedy!!!

CARLITO MAKES A CLAIM (76%)
A shot goes backstage where Carlito is talking to Mr. Kennedy and King Booker about being one of their partners in the Survivor Series Match. Kennedy looks like he is considering it and Carlito walks off hopeful he will be selected.

MATCH 3: BOBBY LASHLEY VS. LANCE CADE (70%, 2.5*)
After calling his long-time tag team partner an “anchor” last week, Lance Cade asked for an opportunity to show off his ability in singles competition. Cade got the tough draw of Lashley but fought him tough. Cade was actually in control when Trevor Murdoch came down the aisle. Murdoch looked like he was trying to help Cade but Cade started yelling at him and told him to get lost. This unintentional distraction caused Cade to walk right into a Lashley Spear to be defeated.
WINNER: Bobby Lashley by pinfall in 7:26

CADE CLOTHESLINES MURDOCH (60%)
Lashley celebrates the win before heading back up the ramp as Murdoch gets in the ring to try and help Cade up. Once to his feet, Cade shoves Murdoch away. Murdoch starts to walk back towards Cade but Cade hits him with a viscous clothesline. It appears the team of Cade & Murdoch are over.

UMAGA ATTACKS LASHLEY BACKSTAGE (87%)
Back from a commercial break and Bobby Lashley is shown walking backstage after his victory. All of a sudden, the annoying voice of Armando Alejandro Estrada can be heard and Lashley confronts him. Before he can say anything else, Lashley grabs a hold of Estrada by the neck, only to blindly get kicked in the face by Umaga. Umaga starts raining down fists and headbutts on a downed Lashley. Umaga then throws Lashley into a garage door. With Lashley laid up against the door, Umaga finds a crate and as backstage staff and road agents get to the scene, Umaga rolls the crate right into Lashley's midsection, causing him to start coughing as he holds his ribs. Umaga is then escorted out of the area as staff help Lashley.

TWO MATCHES ADDED TO SURVIVOR SERIES (71%)
Despite it being from cheating, Maryse's victory earlier tonight earned her a Women's Title Match against Candice Michelle. JR and King talk about the match as the graphic shows it has been added to Survivor Series. Also added is a 4-on-4 Elimination Match as the World Tag Team Champions, The World's Greatest Tag Team, team with the brothers, Carlito & Primo, to take on Cryme Tyme and London & Kendrick.

MR. KENNEDY'S ENTRANCE + NEW PARTNERS (85%)
“Turn Up The Trouble” hits and Mr. Kennedy makes his entrance, flanked by King Booker and Queen Sharmell. After announcing himself in the ring, he holds onto the mic and says that he has found a couple of hungry guys who want in. He says they were impressive earlier tonight and the team of William Regal and Drew McIntyre make their way out as a part of the Survivor Series team.

TRIPLE H, HBK, AND CENA ENTRANCES (89%)
“The Game” by Motorhead hits and Triple H makes his entrance for the Main Event. As he gets to the end of the entrance ramp, he looks back at the entrance, and “Sexy Boy” hits. Triple H is not going at it alone as 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels dances his way down the aisle. Once HBK gets to HHH, the WWE Champ, John Cena comes out and the playing field is almost even as the Main Event is next!

***MAIN EVENT*** MATCH 4: TRIPLE H VS. MR. KENNEDY (87%, 3*)
Back from commercial and the match is underway with almost full teams on the outside. The match was even for the most part and while tensions were high, no brawl happened between the spectating superstars. That is until Triple H was thrown out of the ring and the heels got a cheap shot in as King Booker distracted referee Mike Chioda. This caused Cena and HBK to walk over and a brawl began on the outside. As the five men were going at it, “Loaded” hit and Jeff Hardy sprinted down the ramp and joined the fray. Referee Chioda was trying to control the chaos but all of a sudden, Randy Orton came from out of nowhere and hit an 'RKO' on HHH. Orton posed in the ring but was then run off by Cody Rhodes! Rhodes caught Orton and the two started brawling up the ramp. Road agents, staff, and security came down to break everyone up on the outside while Kennedy put an arm over HHH for a cover. Hunter kicked out at 2.99 and Kennedy couldn't believe it. Kennedy then picked Triple H to hit a 'Mic Check' but Triple H reversed it and after a kick in the gut, hit Kennedy with a 'Pedigree,' before making the cover to get the win.

SURVIVOR SERIES STANDOFF (98%)
After getting the win, Triple H's music hit as the teams were separated. The faces then congregated in the ring, while the heels were at the top of the entrance ramp with everyone between them. Randy Orton appeared to be the fifth and final member of one team while John Cena grabbed a mic and said that they are looking at the final two members of his team: Jeff Hardy and Cody Rhodes! It's Cena, HBK, HHH, Hardy, and Rhodes vs. Orton, Kennedy, Booker, Regal, and McIntyre at Survivor Series! The faces stand tall as the heels talk trash from the ramp to end the show.

MATCH 1: MIKE KNOX VS. BALLS MAHONEY (61%, 1.5*)
Mike Knox continued rolling through the roster as he faced Balls Mahoney in the opening contest. Balls did get a speck of offense in but Knox would take control and finish Mahoney off with his 'Knox Out.'

STRIKER VOUCHES FOR HIS CLIENT (72%)
ECW General Manager, Mick Foley, is in his office when Matt Striker comes walking in. Foley asks what he can do for Striker and the former school teacher says that Big Daddy V deserves a title shot. Foley says that there is quite a line forming up but Striker says the big man will go through anyone to get what is rightfully his. Foley nods and says he will keep his request in consideration, which satisfies Striker enough.

MATCH 2: ELIJAH BURKE VS. JAMIE NOBLE (69%, 2*)
Elijah Burke was in action after returning last week with a victory over Johnny Nitro. Tonight, he squared off against Jamie Noble from Smackdown! Noble was his tenacious self but Burke continued his momentum by picking up another dub with an 'Elijah Express.'

NITRO WATCHING (75%)
As Elijah Burke celebrates his victory, a shot goes backstage of Johnny Nitro watching the show. He scoffs at Burke's victory and then walks off.

***MAIN EVENT*** MATCH 3: PAUL BURCHILL VS. TOMMY DREAMER (60%, 1*)
The Main Event saw Tommy Dreamer get his hands on Paul Burchill after Burchill ruined his ECW Championship opportunity the week before, causing a no-contest in his title match vs. CM Punk. Burchill systematically dissected Dreamer for the majority of the match but Dreamer fought hard and was able to reverse a spinebuster attempt into a DDT. Dreamer then set up Burchill in the 'Tree of Woe' and hit his signature running dropkick. Dreamer then tried to hit a 'Spicolli Driver' but Burchill elbowed Dreamer's head and got down. Burchill then hit a wicked clothesline, turning Dreamer inside out before finishing him off with a 'Curbstomp' to get the win.

BIG BRAWL (90%)
Burchill won the match but he wasn't satisfied and went to the outside to grab a steel chair from the timekeeper's table. We've seen this before and know what's next but before he could hit another stomp on the chair, “This Fire Burns” hits and ECW Champion, CM Punk runs down to the ring. Punk gets in the ring and he and Burchill trade punches before Punk gets the advantage and a hard right sends Burchill through the middle rope and to the outside. Punk went to the outside and smacked Burchill's head off the announce table but then Johnny Nitro came out of nowhere and knocked Punk down from behind. Nitro started stomping away at Punk and once Burchill got up he took the cover off the announce table and cleared everything on it. He instructed Nitro to place Punk on the table face-down, perhaps to hit a 'Curbstomp' through the announce table. Before the duo could do anything more, Elijah Burke joined the fray and started swinging away at both Nitro and Burchill. The crowd cheers as Burke appeared to turn clean, helping Punk out. Punk then gets up and the four are trading blows near each out. All of a sudden Tommy Dreamer comes out of nowhere, like a bullet, and hits a suicide dive through the ropes, knocking everyone down.

FOLEY MAKES SURVIVOR SERIES MATCH (95%)
After Dreamer's dive, officials and road agents came out to stop the madness. ECW General Manager Mick Foley then came out and said that this brawl gave him an idea. He says at Survivor Series we are going to have ourselves another Hardcore Championship Battle Royal. Punk will defend against Burchill, Nitro, Burke, and Dreamer where the title can change hands as many times as possible but whoever is the champion after 10 minutes will be the official Hardcore Champion.

THE HIGHLIGHT REEL (92%)
After “Rise Up” plays and the Smackdown! Intro finishes, Michael Cole and Ernest 'The Cat' Miller welcome us in. The ring is currently set up with the Jeritron 5000 as a special edition of 'The Highlight Reel' will kick off the show. World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho makes his way out to a thunderous roar. Y2J wears his title as he gets in the ring and welcomes everyone to 'The Highlight Reel.' Jericho says were are a couple of days away from Survivor Series and a couple of days before MVP will “Never...evvvvvvvvver. Be the same. A-gain!” Y2J is about to show us on the Jeritron 5000 when he beat MVP last month on Smackdown! but Chavo Guerrero's music hits and the now former Cruiserweight Champion comes out. Chavo sarcastically tells Jericho that he's sorry for interrupting his show but Chavo says last week was a tragedy and that someone better do something about it. Chavo calls out Smackdown! GM, Teddy Long, and then his own aunt, Vickie Guerrero, but Jericho remarks that he's just as whiny as MVP. This causes Chavo to get mad at Y2J and start heading towards the ring. Jericho starts moving his chairs out of the way but Teddy Long's music hits and the GM comes out. Teddy says “hold on playas” as he tells Chavo he'll get his rematch soon but as for tonight, Chavo will be in action against 'Y2J' Chris Jericho! Chavo is not happy about this and Jericho is smiling as the show goes to break.

MATCH 1: MICHELLE MCCOOL VS. BROOKE – DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND (56%, 0.5*)
The second half of the bracket of the Divas Championship Tournament kicked off with Michelle McCool taking on Brooke from ECW. Brooke got a little bit of offense in but it was mostly McCool in control and she punched her ticket to the semi-finals after hitting Brooke with a 'Wings of Love.'

BACKSTAGE ATTACK (88%)
As Michelle McCool is celebrating her win the camera quickly jumps backstage to show a couple of superstars laid out. Cole and Cat wonder what's going on when they see its Star Squad members, Nick Nemeth and Kenny Dykstra. No one seems to know what happened and all of a sudden a couple of backstage workers rush in and then call for help. Eventually, medical personnel make their way over to check on the tag team.

MATCH 2: MVP W/KRISTAL VS. MATT HARDY (71%, 2*)
While Chris Jericho was facing off against Chavo Guerrero later tonight, MVP got a tune-up for Sunday's Championship Match by facing a familiar foe, Matt Hardy. Hardy beat MVP for the United States Championship at SummerSlam but on this night would MVP get his revenge? The two traded control of the match but towards the end, with Hardy stalking MVP for a 'Twist of Fate' attempt, Kristal caused a distraction. While Referee Charles Robinson was warning Kristal, Hardy booted MVP and had his head in a facelock, ready to strike. But before Hardy could start rotating, MVP dropped to his knees and low-blowed Hardy. MVP would then finish Hardy off with a 'Playmaker,' to get the win.

MVP GUARANTEES VICTORY (87%)
After the bell rang, MVP grabbed a mic and cut a promo telling the crowd that he would be winning for sure on Sunday. MVP says he's got it all. The skills, the confidence, and the girl. MVP then kisses Kristal in the ring as the crowd boos him. MVP heads into Survivor Series with some serious momentum.

MATCH 3: ASHLEY MASSARO VS. TALIA MADISON – DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND (52%, 0.5*)
The final first-round match of the Divas Championship Tournament was next as Ashley Massaro took on Talia Madison. Talia must have impressed officials in her tryout matches and now was getting a big-time opportunity. Both ladies shook hands before the match and the match was a fast-paced back-and-forth contest. Talia was looking to hit a sitout rear mat slam but Ashley countered with a jawbreaker. This allowed her to go to the top and hit her 'Starstruck' elbow drop to get the victory.
WINNER: Ashley Massaro by pinfall in 6:27

POOR SPORTSMANSHIP (67%)
After getting the victory, Ashley's arm was raised and she went to the top rope to celebrate with the WWE fans. When she got down, Talia was recovering in the corner and the two made eye contact. Ashley then offered her hand in a show of respect for a hard-fought match. Talia walked up and shook Ashley's hand and then appeared to be leaving the ring. As soon as Ashley turned her back to start celebrating with the crowd again, Talia came back into the ring and attacked her from behind! Michael Cole remarked that it was a poor show of sportsmanship after a good contest. Talia then slammed Ashley's head off the mat like a basketball a few times while yelling at her. The crowd booed as Talia left the ringside area.

THE ANIMAL IS HUNTING (87%)
Back from a commercial break and there is a camera following JBL who is apparently running away from someone. JBL is heard saying “take it easy” while putting his hands up and then it is revealed that 'The Animal' Batista is chasing him. Batista said he was going to make JBL pay for what he did to 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair last week. JBL then stumbles out the curtain and comes towards ringside. He gets to the timekeeper's table as Batista walks through the curtain and JBL grabs a mic. JBL yells at Batista to stop acting like an actual animal so they can talk about it but Batista is not in the mood. JBL then reveals that it was Batista who laid out The Star Squad earlier tonight. Before Batista can get his hands on JBL, Teddy Long comes out and tells Batista to “hold on a minute, playa.” Teddy says as much as JBL deserves a beating for what he did to a legend of this business, he says he needs Batista to calm down. Teddy says he does not condone what 'The Animal' did earlier tonight but he has an idea on how to handle this. Long says that at Survivor Series, it will be Team Batista vs. Team JBL in a 5-on-5 Elimination Match. He tells both men that there will not be any more physicality tonight but that later, they will both announce their teams. Batista is eager while JBL is basically breathing a sigh of relief that he avoided the wrath of 'The Animal.'

HEAD START ON SUNDAY (76%)
After that segment, Michael Cole and Ernest 'The Cat' Miller went over the Smackdown! card for Survivor Series. After they finished, the lights went down and the countdown started to play as World Champion, Chris Jericho made his way out. Y2J got in the ring and then waited for his opponent, Chavo Guerrero. “Chavo Ardiente” began playing but after about 10-15 seconds, everyone was wondering why he didn't come out. All of a sudden Jericho is attacked from behind by MVP! After knocking Y2J down, MVP set him up in the corner and hit a 'Drive-By Kick.' MVP then went to the outside to grab a steel chair and started to hit Jericho in the back. Eventually, backstage officials and road agents came down to stop MVP but it looked as if the match between Jericho and Chavo had been canceled.

***MAIN EVENT*** MATCH 4: EDGE, CURT HAWKINS, AND ZACK RYDER VS. THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION – HANDICAP MATCH (80%, 2*)
After the Jericho/Chavo match was off, it was time for the Handicap Main Event Match as Edge and his minions would take on Kane and The Undertaker, two days before Hell In A Cell! Edge wanted no part of the action and made Hawkins and Ryder decide on which one of them would start. This resulted in The Brothers of Destruction just picking apart Hawkins & Ryder for the majority of the match. Towards the end, the numbers game finally helped Ryder get the upper hand on 'The Big Red Machine' and then Edge finally asked to be tagged in. Edge worked on Kane for a bit but after Kane struck Edge with a throat thrust and tagged 'The Deadman' in, Edge scurried to the corner and tagged Hawkins back in. Eventually, Kane and 'Taker hit stereo chokeslams on Edge's minions and Edge wanted to help his guys out but retreated. Ryder would then take a sacrifice as 'Taker picked him up and dropped him with a 'Tombstone' as Edge watched from halfway up the ramp.

PICKING TEAMS (82%)
The final segment of Smackdown! was next as JBL and Batista would announce their Survivor Series teams. 'Longhorn' hit and JBL, flanked by Deuce, Domino, and Cherry came out to the ring. It had been no secret the three of them had been working together in the past month or so. JBL gets on the mic and says that he's confident that his team will destroy Batista's at Survivor Series. JBL says his 4th member is the man who should still be the Cruiserweight Champion, Chavo Guerrero. Chavo now comes out when his music plays and is booed for ducking Jericho. Chavo laughs and says “did you like that setup?” It appears Chavo and MVP discussed a plan for MVP to get an advantage going into the World Title Match. JBL then gets back on the mic and says the last member of his team is a guy whom he goes way back with. 'The World's Strongest Man,' MARK HENRY! “Some Bodies Gonna Get It” hits and the United States Champion makes his way out. JBL says it would have been a shame if the United States Champion was left off of one of the biggest PPVs of the year, so that was apparently the reasoning for Henry accepting the offer. After a little more of JBL talking his team up, “I Walk Alone” hits and he is cut off by Batista. JBL comments on Batista coming out alone and laughs at the fact that he wasn't able to find anyone else. Batista smirks and says that they didn't do a good enough job on 'The Nature Boy' because Flair will be at Survivor Series. Batista then says there is a promising young tag team that can't stand Deuce & Domino. The Hart Dynasty's music hits and TJ Wilson, DH Smith, and Natalya come out and join Batista on stage. Batista then addressed Chavo and said did he really think I wouldn't ask this man to be my 5th guy? “Booyaka 619” hits and Rey Mysterio is the final member of Team Batista! Chavo and JBL look worried as Batista says they are going to kick their asses on Sunday.
