Some ridiculous names there, I'm impressed, but it makes sense as Jericho, particularly, was available in 2006. I would've liked it to be an only-Heavyweight cup, but I get what you're going for. You're going to have a hard time booking all those shows, tho!

You're going to have a hard time booking all those shows, tho! To be fair, we're also hiring those names with a former WCW (and NJPW and AJPW) legend Big Van Vader in charge. If nothing else, NJPW has connections now. I have a hunch future editions may be restricted to the Heavyweight division. Don't worry, I won't be writing up every New Japan Cup match in detail, but key matches in the tournament will get a decent write-up -- much like I do on regular shows. Hopefully, it'll make up for the relatively short (4 match) card.
