The Undertaker to win the WWF Championship
Bad Blood kicked off with Hunter Hearst Helmsley capturing the WWF European Title over The British Bulldog ending Bulldog's 7-month reign as WWF European Champion.
And another title change took place when the King of Harts recaptured the Intercontinental Title by winning a tournament and defeating The Rock in the finals to become a 2-time WWF Intercontinental Champion.
Both Vader, Shamrock & The Hitman faced off to see who would be the #1 Contender at Survivor Series for the WWF Championship.
It would turn out to be however, The Hitman winning the match.
And finally the match conceived in hell for the first time in the World Wrestling Federation, as the WWF Champion The Undertaker took on Shawn Michaels for the title in this match.
Both men pulled out all the stops in this match, it was probably the most brutal, bloody war between these two.
Shawn had gained the advantage and almost had the Champion beat by every which way in the middle of the match.
The fight was able to spill on the outside with Michaels attacking a cameraman and as the cameraman was being helped back as Michaels performed Sweet Chin Music on The Undertaker. The Undertaker sat up and chased Shawn to the outside in where he catapulted him into the cage.
Shockingly enough, both men climbed to the top of the cell in where Undertaker had the advantage. Michaels tried to escape as he tried to climb out of the cell.
Taker had kicked Shawn's fingers and he fell through the announce table.
The Phenom had Shawn Michaels back in the ring in where he bashed the bloody challenger over his head with a steel chair. The Deadman was sure this was over.
But then suddenly, the lights went out as they turned on to red. Paul Bearer brought him, Kane was alive and here in the WWF!.
The Undertaker had stared down his younger brother who had thought to be alive. Kane then set off his pyrotechnics
And then in a move his brother does. Kane grabbed Undertaker and tombstoned his brother to the mat.
Kane had walked out of the cell intent with the damage he had done on The Undertaker.
A bloody Shawn covered The Undertaker and won the WWF Championship for the third time.
A bloody Shawn Michaels had regained the WWF Title for the third time defeating The Undertaker in the first ever Hell in A Cell Match with help from Kane!.

Team Canada stuck it to Triple H's DX Team by eliminating Team USA
The Massive Rampage of the Big Red Machine was felt on the former Intercontinental Champion Goldust who had destroyed every WWF Superstar in order to make a challenge to his brother The Undertaker, but The Undertaker refused.
Even though he was in Owen Hart's territory. Stone Cold Steve Austin didn't care and captured the Intercontinental Championship over Owen Hart.
Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels faced off with the title on the line and Vince McMahon was publically there to watch it happen.
Bret Hart wanted to tie Hulk Hogan's record in his hometown by becoming a 5-Time World Wrestling Federation Champion and he was desperate in doing so.
But HBK would use the sharpshooter to Bret's advantage and when Bret was going to reverse it.
The Referee Rang the Bell and awarded the match to Shawn Michaels as everyone in the Montreal Crowd was stunned at What the Hell was going on!!!!.
Bret saw who was responsible for ringing the bell, it was the WWF Owner Vince McMahon.
Frustrated, Bret spat in Vince's face
And then mouthed the words "WCW"
Shawn Michaels escaped Montreal still with the WWF Championship but not without controversy.
The Hart Family all came down to console Bret after what had recently happened. After, Bret destroyed the announce table and was in search for Vince McMahon.
As soon as the Survivor Series went off the air. Tensions were cut backstage in real-life where Vince tried to explain to Bret, but Bret knocked out Vince with one punch.
Vince McMahon suffered a broken eye as The Hitman had one last act of defiance in him at the Survivor Series before leaving for WCW!.

BRET SCREWED BRET! November 17. 1997
8 Days after the Montreal Screwjob, Vince McMahon was interviewed by Jim Ross asking if he screwed Bret Hart. Vince said that he did not screw Bret Hart, the referee didn't screw Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels didn't screw Bret Hart, Bret Hart screwed Bret Hart!. McMahon said that he made good decisions more than bad decisions, it's a time honoured tradition, if someone is leaving and show the right amount of respect, show the proper respect to help him become who they are today and Bret Hart didn't want to honor that tradition. And it's something he didn't want expect to Bret. It was Bret's decision, Bret screwed Bret!. How could he leave when he had a 20-year contract?. Vince said that it was a mutual decision from both Bret and Vince. The two of them got together and orchestrated Ted Turner's wrestling organization to steal Bret. Bret felt for creative reasons that he played second fiddle to Shawn Michaels who stole his spotlight. The two decided that Bret would receive a 3-year deal, $3 dollars and working 125 days a year. So he felt from a personal stand point. If Bret wasn't a great investment. He didn't want Bret to go, but the least he could do for Bret if infact he does get the deal from Turner, he will be the first person to congratulate him, but he didn't want to lose Bret at all. Vince said that he was extremely disappointed that Bret attacked him, he sustained a concussion and had vision problems, but he would get over it and it was the right thing to do. At the age of 52. Things would have been different if there were confrontational. Vince hoped that Bret wouldn't hit him. Vince wanted them to work things out between the two and said that he has considered it and that the options were still available and it all depends on Bret and as a storyteller, he would've hoped that Bret's story would be a dramatic ending instead of the ending that he didn't want in terms of his departure. He could've gotten pinned and shown the whole world what a true champion he really was. If he was writing the story. He could've seen Bret after a 1, 2, 3, Situation. Shawn got the best of him and furthermore he wanted everyone in the locker room to watch the match, so that he could show for those who followed in his footsteps, this was to be done, to show every individual and every secretary, and even in Titan Sports & the WWF to do the right thing that he was there and was a superstar, the greatest if ever and he went out simply a true champion. Vince said that he had no sympathy for Bret when asked about it by Jim Ross. Bret didn't do the right thing for the fans and the performers for the World Wrestling Federation. Bret made a very selfish decision, Bret screwed Bret and that he had no sympathy at all for Bret Hart. When asked again if Bret would come back to the World Wrestling Federation with open arms by Vince McMahon. Vince said that this wrestling place was a strange business and he would but it would be a real frank understanding and that he would accept Bret's apology if that were the case and he would tell Bret no more free shots. He would welcome Bret back under those conditions. Vince said that there were signs all over the arena that Bret Sold Out and he helped Bret sell out and that's what Bret did. He sold out, it wasn't a big deal because he helped him do it. There could be a next line of wrestlers telling Vince to help them sell out. From a business standpoint, the WWF would go on without Bret Hart, but on a personal side, it's affected Vince McMahon and you can't end a 14-year relationship without having feelings. He regrets that he felt forced to make a decision. He regretted that Bret didn't do the right thing. Because it would've cost him a lot of money. He regrets that the Family is enduring this tirade and he regrets that Vince's Family had to see what happened in the locker room from a personal standpoint. He made a tough decision, but it was the right decision for the WWF fans and the WWF Superstars that remain loyal. JR asked what Vince would say to Bret right now!. Vince replied with what he would tell Bret in the locker room and that he made a mistake that he'll regret from a professional standpoint. He had to do what he had to do for his company and for his superstars and he's unwavering from that point of view. He doesn't know if they'll ever talk. He hopes they will one day, it is too bad that a 14-year relationship was destroyed because one member of the relationship forgot what Sports Entertainment is. Forgot where they came from. Vince says that he's over the hurt, but at the same time Bret has been such a part of the WWF and a part of Bret will always stay in the World Wrestling Federation, he's going to remember the good times with Bret to which he performed from the greatest degree. He will remember Bret as the excellence of execution. But it's too bad in the end that Bret wasn't the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be and he had the opportunity to live up to that monarchy and he failed.

Then Suddenly as Shawn Michaels was talking about what happened. Owen Hart came down to attack the WWF Champion with Referees & Officials restraining Owen Hart.
But More Officials and Sgt. Slaughter were more concerned about The Undertaker's wellbeing in the casket. They opened the Casket up after extinguishing it, but there was no sign of The Undertaker anywhere. But his voice boomed over the loudspeakers stating that until him and Kane see each other again. He would never rest in peace!. What did that mean?. After months of saying that he didn't want to fight his own brother Kane. Had The Undertaker had enough of Kane's brutal attacks on him?. The answer had to be from The Undertaker when he returned.
