Tajiri with help from his new girlfriend Torrie Wilson won the WWF Cruiserweight Championship which was renamed after the Light Heavyweight Championship was officially retired by Eric Bischoff over Billy Kidman.
It was uncle vs nephew as WCW's Chavo Guerrero took on WWF's Eddie Guerrero.
But it would be Chavo ending up winning the match against Eddie thanks to blatant cheating.
The Hardy Boys were able to steal a WCW Championship and that was the WCW Tag Team Titles from Chuck Palumbo & Sean O. Haire
Chris Jericho finally picked up a big win over Sting and wanted to prove himself to be in title contention.
Vince McMahon and Ric Flair squared off with Flair winning the match thanks to interference by Eric Bischoff.
Jazz, new WCW Superstar walked out of Unforgiven as the new WWF Women's Champion defeating Lita and Trish Stratus in a Triple Threat Match.
The Brothers of Destruction scored one for Team WWF as they defeated Scott Steiner & Diamond Dallas Page in a Tag Team Match.
In the first double main event. The Big Show, The Rock & Stone Cold Steve Austin teamed up to take on the nWo. But in a big surprise in the middle of the match, The Big Show turned on Team WWF and attacked The Rock & Stone Cold Steve Austin.
And then shortly after, X-Pac came down as Hall, Nash & Hogan watched Show chokeslam the WWF Champion to the mat. X-Pac and Show have both defected to WCW and have come back home to the nWo!.
The WWF had to come down to it's final hope. Kurt Angle who had wanted to win the WCW Championship in his hometown in the main event against Booker T.
And in his hometown, he didn't disappoint as Kurt made Booker tap out to the anklelock taking the WCW Championship to the WWF camp!.
The celebration was on for Kurt Angle as the WWF took the WCW Championship away from WCW!.
Angle's family & friends came out and rejoiced with him including the WWF Superstars as Unforgiven went off the air.

GOLDBERG DEBUTS AND GOES FACE TO FACE WITH THE WWF CHAMPION September 24. 2001
On RAW's Main Event. The new nWo's Big Show took on Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship. Austin was able to retain the title over The Big Show, but then. Familiar Music played in the arena as Goldberg came down to stare down The Rattlesnake. Both Austin and Goldberg had a historic face off to end RAW!

STING WINS THE WCW TITLE OVER KURT ANGLE October 1. 2001
On Monday Night RAW's Main Event. Sting took on Kurt Angle for the WCW Championship as Angle had Sting defeated. Goldberg came out and speared Kurt Angle out of his boots and that allowed Sting to put the Scorpion Deathlock on an unconcsious Angle in where Angle passed out and Sting won the WCW Title for the 7th time.

OWEN HART BREAKS HIS SILENCE AND PLANS TO RETURN October 8. 2001
On an edition of Monday Night RAW. Owen Hart was interviewed by Michael Cole. Owen stated that he planned to return to be on Team WWF's side against Team WCW because he had been dealing with the loss of his Mother in May of last year, but he planned to return in November of this month.

ANGLE CRASHES STING'S 7th WCW TITLE CELEBRATION WIN WITH MILK October 8. 2001
To end the show on Monday Night RAW. Eric Bischoff brought out the WCW Champion Sting and the entire WCW Roster as they celebrated Sting's 7th WCW Title win. Sting talked about how Kurt Angle had his hometown glory in Pittsburgh defeating Booker T. But he would never be able to defeat the greatest icon of wrestling history. Then Kurt Angle came out with a milk truck and sprayed the entire WCW Roster with it.

THE HURRICANE WINS THE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE OVER TAJIRI October 12. 2001
On A SMACKDOWN Edition. WCW gained the Cruiserweight Championship back with Hurricane Helms regaining the Cruiserweight Title over Tajiri.

After losing the Intercontinental Title to Diamond Dallas Page. Edge got the biggest betrayal of them all when his tag partner Christian hit Edge in the head with a Steel Chair and declared his allegiance to Team WCW!.
New Haircut and all, The Undertaker got his redemption over Scott Steiner in a No Holds Barred Match.
Goldberg picked up a hard fought victory over former WWF Champion & recently former WCW Champion Kurt Angle.
The Rock and Sting faced off for the WCW Title with The Rock looking to gain his redemption over Sting after Sting put him out on the shelf Last April the night after WrestleMania.
And redemption he got as the WCW Title returned to the WWF Camp courtesy of The Rock.
And once again Austin & Hogan squared off in the main event, the rematch from Summerslam 1998 3 years ago. But this time it was Black & White Hogan and he was looking to win back the WWF Championship.
And as back and forth it was. Austin was thought to have the upper hand in the match as he was set to put Hogan away with the Stunner.
But the WCW Superstars interfered to attack Austin until the WWF Superstars all showed up to brawl with WCW and it led to a full scale riot, but this time with Stone Cold clearing the ring alongside the WWF Superstars.

ERIC BISCHOFF & TEAM WCW TURN ON SHANE MCMAHON IN EXCHANGE FOR A SURVIVOR SERIES MATCH October 22. 2001
On an edition of RAW. Team WCW came out with Shane McMahon & Eric Bischoff. Eric Bischoff called out Vince McMahon with Vince McMahon accepting the calling out. Bischoff demanded a 5 v 5 Survivor Series Elimination Match between 5 WWF's Best vs 5 WCW's Best in which the winner would take control of the company, Vince refused the proposal only for Bischoff to say that he knew Vince was going to say no. And that led to the nWo attacking Shane McMahon and the rest of Team WCW and Bischoff beating and battering Shane McMahon. Vince finally agreed to the match to stop them from hurting Shane more. RAW went off the air with Vince cradling a bloody Shane in his arms, Shane then mouthed that he was sorry to his father.

Team Edge and Team Christian kicked off the Survivor Series with Edge & The Acolytes becoming the sole survivors after Christian had walked out of the match.
Diamond Dallas Page, the WWF Intercontinental Champion faced off against Chris Jericho, the WCW United States Champion with Jericho winning the match.
In another Champion vs Champion encounter, the team of Kevin Nash & Scott Hall defeated The Hardy Boys.
Norman Smiley took advantage of the 24/7 rule and captured the WWF Hardcore Championship after Terry Funk & Rob Van Dam faced off for the Hardcore Title with a couple of 24/7 shenagigians by Raven & Tommy Dreamer.
Eric Bischoff & Shane McMahon battled in a No Disqualifaction Match with Eric Bischoff getting the win with help from the returning Bam Bam Bigelow who was in WCW but hadn't been seen in the WWF for years.
Owen Hart betrayed Team WWF by turning his back on Austin nailing a steel chair allowing WCW to win the match.
Vince McMahon was shocked. Eric Bischoff had now won over Vince McMahon and is now the sole owner of the World Wrestling Federation.
Now with Eric Bischoff at the helm of the World Wrestling Federation ownership. What the hell is going to happen now?. Will there be a WWF or WCW?. What is going to happen?

ERIC BISCHOFF MAKES NEW CHANGES TO THE NEW WWF November 19. 2001
Following Eric's big win at the WWF Survivor Series twice. New WWF owner Eric Bischoff came out and called out Vince McMahon yelling to his face that he's fired. Bischoff then announced that there would be major changes happening, from now on RAW IS WAR will become MONDAY NITRO again!. But he will keep SMACKDOWN!. Bischoff announced that Armageddon will be replaced by Starrcade, and that he's announced that Hollywood Hulk Hogan will take on Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship in a No Holds Barred Match. And the new WCW superstar Owen Hart will face The Rock for the WCW Championship, and also. Sting & The Undertaker will go one on one. Bischoff said that he wasn't going to fire any WWF Superstar, but if they got in his way. They would be fired just like he did to Vince McMahon.
