OWEN HART EXPLAINS WHY HE TURNED ON THE WWF November 19. 2001
The WWF fans demanded answers on why former 3-time WWF Champion Owen Hart turned his back on the company. Owen explained his reasons saying that he was never asked to help out Team WWF in the Spring cause the entire WCW roster was running amok on the WWF Superstars. Owen said that when his mother Helen died. He felt he was ready to come back to the WWF to do what his mother would've wanted him to, but the WWF never called him back, so he called up Eric Bischoff and he wanted to join a team that would never hold him back. In that conversation. Bischoff reminded him of the incident 4 years ago when Vince and the WWF screwed his brother Bret and that they played Bret like a fiddle. Then one day Bret told Owen to do the right thing and join the WCW team and screw the WWF like they did him. At first, he didn't want to turn on the WWF because they gave him opportunity after opportunity, they let him become a 3-time WWF Champion. But throughout 2000 and 2001 when he thought he accomplished the greatest hit and run attack on Stone Cold Steve Austin set him backwards. And that is why he did what he had to do and now he's going to bring the WCW Championship at Starrcade and beat the People's Eyebrow off of The Rock and take the WCW Title back to the WCW Camp and become the greatest WCW Champion of all time like all of the greats.

The Royal Rumble 2002 was filled to capacity in Atlanta, GA as 45 WCW Superstars and 45 WWF Superstars would face off to determine who would go to WrestleMania to face either the WWF or the WCW Champion.
There was only one title change as Trish Stratus won the WWF Women's Championship over Jazz.
For the first time since the 1991 Tuesday in Texas. Hulk Hogan & The Undertaker faced off in the 2002 Royal Rumble for Hogan's WWF Championship.
The Deadman was set on winning the match by eventually putting Hogan down with a chokeslam.
But with help from The Undertaker's fellow rival Sting. Hogan was able to retain the WWF Championship over The Undertaker.
The 2002 Royal Rumble was filled with a lot of surprises, the first of surprises was the returning Goldust!.
Also returning was former WWF Champion Lex Luger as well for the first time in 7 years.
Coming back to the WWF after a missed absence in 2001. The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry!.
And the last surprise was Sgt. Slaughter as well as he entered at #59.
Chris Jericho entered at #1 and lasted through the entire competition by getting a few eliminations until he was eliminated by Goldberg.
Also in the Royal Rumble Match. The Big Show was impressively dominant eliminating 8 men until he was eliminated by Stone Cold Steve Austin
But unlike Big Show's dominant performance. Goldberg was close to breaking his 8 elimination record, but still got 7 eliminations and put on a massive performance lasting in the final 2.
Goldberg and Triple H were the final 2 combatants in the ring.
But The Game would eventually end up eliminating Goldberg and complete his comeback reign to face the WWF or the WCW Champion at WrestleMania 18!. The Game is back and he wants the gold again!

THE ROCK SUGGESTS A WARGAMES MATCH BETWEEN TEAM WWF vs TEAM WCW January 31. 2002
As Eric Bischoff was in the ring talking about the new PPV called Souled Out taking No Way Out's place. The Rock came out and announced that he was watching some of the old WCW Days and he saw a match that could potentially make history, that is if Eric Bischoff had whatever balls in his brass pocket. He would make a match, 5 of the Team WCW's best vs 5 of the Team WWF's best. A Match that is similar to the Steel Cage and the Hell in A Cell!. 2 men enter, another superstar enters. The match ends on submission or surrender and that match is WarGames!. Bischoff accepted The Rock's challenge. Then Bischoff announced his team that would get the party started by attacking The Rock. Bischoff brought in WWF Champion Hulk Hogan, Booker T, Ric Flair, Sting & Goldberg. And just as they surrounded The Rock. Alongside The Rock was The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho & Kane as they all stood in the ring together.

ICON vs ICON AT WRESTLEMANIA 18 February 18. 2002
WWF Champion Hulk Hogan entered the ring and called out The Rock who made Hogan submit to the sharpshooter. The Rock came out as the two engaged in a staredown. The Rock grabbed a microphone and said that Hogan talked about headlining WrestleMania after WrestleMania facing off against Roddy Piper, King Kong Bundy, Andre The Giant, Big Bossman, The Ultimate Warrior, Earthquake, Ric Flair, Yokozuna, Mankind, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Big Show & Kurt Angle. But there's one person Hogan had not faced at WrestleMania, one on one and the reason why The Rock said it is because in 1999 it was supposed to be Hogan vs The Rock for the title and yeah it was Hogan vs The Rock for the championship, but Mankind & Stone Cold were involved in it and The Rock did whoop Hogan's ass at WrestleMania and with or without Stone Cold & Mankind. The Rock would've whooped Hogan's ass anyway, one on one or fatal four way. But now The Rock wants to face Hogan in the biggest matchup of WrestleMania history, the fantasy matchup at WrestleMania who would go down in the history of the absolute best ever. And it's not up to them to decide. It's up to the WWF & WCW fans. They want to see The Rock vs Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania for the WWF Championship. The Rock asked the fans if they wanted to see Hogan & The Rock go one on one. The fans replied. Hogan said "yes" and said that the fans would be right, because just like every WrestleMania like he stepped in the ring with everyone. He is going to kick The Rock's ass at WrestleMania 18. Hogan shook hands with The Rock with Hogan telling him good luck cause The Rock would need it. But then The Rock said, not as much as him brother, The Rock then grabbed Hogan and hit him with the Rock Bottom to end Monday Night RAW!
