THE NWO TRAP THE ROCK IN AN AMBULANCE AND INJURE HIM February 21. 2002
During The Rock's match with Sting. The nWo came down and attacked The Rock. The Undertaker tried to make the save to help The Rock but he was attacked by Sting as Sting & Taker fought to the back. The nWo decimated The Rock and even spraypainted him as well. But as The Rock was taken to the ambulance. An 18 wheeler stopped them from doing so. Nash & Hall scared off the paramedics who were assisting The Rock and beat them up. Then they destroyed the ambulance vehicle with Hulk Hogan on the 18 wheeler with Hogan declaring that he would lay the SMACKDOWN on his crippled ass NWO style with the 18 wheeler.
Hogan winded up and rammed the 18 wheeler straight into the ambulance in where The Rock was trapped inside in. the nWo hightailed it out after they saw what they did as SMACKDOWN went off the air!

VINCE MCMAHON RETURNS AND ANNOUNCES THAT LINDA, STEPHANIE & SHANE SOLD THEIR STOCK TO THE COMPANY IN ORDER TO BRING VINCE BACK February 25. 2002
As Eric Bischoff was frustrated about WCW's troubles. Vince McMahon's music as he came out on the rampway. Vince announced that he was back and told Bischoff the same thing Bischoff said at Summerslam saying "Did you really think I was going to go away?". Vince announced that Shane, Stephanie & Linda sold their stocks to the company in order to bring him back. Shane & Linda were in the ring but Stephanie was still in the ring and low blowed Eric Bischoff. Eric then retreated to the ring, but then the titantron was shown of the WCW locker room being backed into by a forklift and just as Bischoff was trying to get away. The Undertaker's music hit as he came out with every single WWF Superstar. Bischoff returned to the ring and every single WWF Superstar started to whip Bischoff like a government mule, even J.R. got his licks in as well. Angle then finished it off with an anklelock with Vince threatening that Angle would break Bischoff's ankle if Bischoff put the company on the line at WrestleMania 18 against Vince McMahon. Bischoff said yes!.

Rob Van Dam kicked off WrestleMania 18 in a big way by capturing the WWF Intercontinental Championship over Diamond Dallas Page.
The master of the Spinaroonie Booker T won the 10th annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Match.
Edge regained the United States Championship by defeating his fellow WWF friend and canadian buddy Chris Jericho.
After having his head shaved by Ric Flair on an edition of Last February's RAW. Kurt Angle came back with vengeance on his mind against the Nature Boy.
In a classic battle. Flair countered out of the Anklelock and delivered the figure four on Angle making Angle tap out giving Flair a clean win against the former WWF Champion. After, both men shook hands for a hard fought battle.
The Steiner Brothers captured the WCW Tag Team Belts over the Hardy Boys.
But everybody at WrestleMania 18 was anticipating the big fight field to see who would have control once again of the company as Vince McMahon took on Eric Bischoff.
A Bloody, Battered Vince walked out the victory over Eric Bischoff.
The Comeback story was complete for Triple H as he captured the WCW Title by defeating the Rocket Owen Hart despite interference from some of Owen's family members. Jim Neidhart & British Bulldog who returned for one night only.
In another legendary battle of the icons. The Undertaker extended his undefeated streak to 10-0 by defeating the former WCW Champion and his arch rival Sting.
And the fantasy matchups continued with Stone Cold Steve Austin defeating Goldberg.
The Main Event was nothing short of electrifying for WrestleMania 18 as this was one not only for the Company's future, but for the WWF Championship, as Icon took on Icon, The Rock took on Hulk Hogan.
The crowd sensed an atmospheric staredown between these two legends as half chanted for "Hogan" and others chanted for "Rocky"
The two went toe to toe with The Rock telling Hogan to bring it his best shot and bring it he did.
The Rock took control of the contest taking down Hogan at one point.
It seemed as if the challenger was aggressive against the champion Hogan.
In typical Hogan fashion, he was able to battle back and try to wear The Rock down with submission holds.
Eventually The Rock would use the Rock Bottom to hit Hogan. But Hogan was able to kick out.
As The Rock went for another Rock Bottom. Hogan responded with a Rock Bottom of his own but The Rock was able to kick out.
The match continued with The Rock trying to make Hogan tap out to the Sharpshooter. But Hogan was able to reach to the ropes. The fans started to chant for Hogan more than they did The Rock.
The Rock delivered another Rock Bottom on Hogan!.
But in typical Hogan fashion. Hogan kicked out and started to Hulk Up as the crowd went wild.
Hogan delivered his offensive signature moves and drilled The Rock with his infamous leg drop but The Rock somehow survived.
Despite Hogan fighting his heart out. The Rock delivered one more Rock Bottom and put Hogan down with the People's Elbow and for the fourth time. The Rock captured the WWF Title.
WrestleMania 18 ended with The Rock back untop of the mountain once more, just one year after losing the WWF Championship, he got the WWF Title once again.
After, Hogan extended his hand to The Rock and The Rock accepted his handshake with both men praising each other for a good match.
But out came Nash, Hall, X-Pac, The Big Show and a bloodied Eric Bischoff came out to confront Hogan (sans the entire WCW Roster). Then they beat down Hogan, but The Rock would make the save followed by Team WWF but suddenly Team WCW did not come to their aid, it seemed like WCW was now WWF Superstars, as the nWo retreated. The focus was on Eric Bischoff. Hogan then punched Bischoff who walked into a Rock Bottom by The Rock.
WrestleMania 18 & The Monday Night Wars not only ended with WWF & WCW Superstars clapping side by side for Hulk Hogan & The Rock as both men raised their hands in celebration. The Monday Night Wars were now over!. The WCW Superstars were no longer WCW Superstars, they were now WWF Superstars!. And what does the future hold now for the World Wrestling Federation that Vince McMahon has control back?.

A NEW ERA BEGINS IN THE WWF! March 18. 2002
After WrestleMania X-8. Vince McMahon came out and announced that the WWF was officially back in business, but then he suddenly called out Eric Bischoff who made his way out to the ring, bruised and battered and had a dejected look on his face. McMahon said that since Survivor Series. Bischoff didn't fire anyone of Vince's WWF roster cause he totally understands it, because Bischoff didn't fire anyone in the WWF. He's not going to fire anyone of his group nor him. Because WCW superstars are no longer WCW Superstars, they are now the WWF Superstars. But Vince announced that there would be a draft lottery for RAW & SMACKDOWN after Backlash, and Bischoff is announced as the RAW General Manager, and as far as the SMACKDOWN General Manager goes. It will be revealed at Backlash. Vince then announced the Championships as well. Vince announced that tonight, Edge will take on William Regal with the United States & The European Championship being unified and soon after, the European Title will be the United States Championship!. The Steiner Brothers will take on Nash & Hall with both championships being unified at Backlash. The World Heavyweight Championship & The Intercontinental Championship will be on the RAW Brand while the WWF Championship, The United States Championship & The Cruiserweight Championship will be on the SMACKDOWN Brand, there will also be 2 Women's Championships and 2 Tag Team Championships for both RAW & SMACKDOWN. But as far as the WWF Hardcore Championship which is currently held by Bam Bam Bigelow, should the Hardcore Champion be drafted to RAW or SMACKDOWN. Any SMACKDOWN superstar or any RAW Superstar can come to that show and take the Hardcore Title, they can take advantage of the 24/7 situation if they want to. Vince said that Bischoff's role as the RAW General Manager will not start until Backlash. Vince & Bischoff shook hands and raised each other's hands ending the Monday Night Wars in the ring, but shortly thereafter Stone Cold Steve Austin's music hit as he came out to the ring and he stunned both men.

The fight spilled outside with The Rock trying to put Jericho away by hitting the Rock Bottom on the announce table.
Jericho battled back and nailed The Rock with his own Rock Bottom but The Rock was able to kick out.
The match continued on but as something had to give between these two but as The Rock went for the People's Elbow. Jericho countered and took The Rock down with the Walls of Jericho. The Rock tried to reach for the ropes and eventually he did.
The Rock then used the sharpshooter and attempted to make Jericho tap, but Jericho rolled the sharpshooter over into an inside cradle and pinned The Rock to capture the WWF Championship.
And just like Summerslam 2000. Chris Jericho walked out of Backlash 2002 the WWF Champion for the second straight time.
