Ahh it'll be after the Champion Carnival next year, which is actually where the big deviation from my save begins as instead of Kawada winning the 98' Champion Carnival, Kobashi does as Misawa takes a break to rest up for his dome match, leading to the events we are in now!

Giant Baba would step into the room, smiling at the reporters and speaking clearly into the mic to announce the card.

"Hello everybody! I have came here today to announce all the matches for the first day of the World's Strongest Tag Determination League that will be held in Korakuen Hall!

the main event will be Jun Akiyama and Owen Hart taking on Vader and Johnny Ace!

the co-main event will be Minoru Suzuki and Kazushi Sakuraba vs Takeshi Morishima and Yoshihiro Takayama

the 3rd match of the match Kenta Kobashi and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi vs Nobuhiko Takeda and Takao Omori

the 2nd match will be Mitsuharu Misawa and Yoshinari Ogawa vs Jado and Gedo

Attendance: 2,000 in Korakuen Hall (NO VACANCY!!!)

The show starts off as per usual with the NTV sports march blasting

In a bout that had great wrestling and good heat, Holy Demon Army defeated Hayabusa and Yoshihiro Tajiri in 9:28 when Akira Taue defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri by pinfall with a Dynamic Bomb.

In terms of in-ring work, Toshiaki Kawada was head and shoulders above everyone else.

Rating: 81 B

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Mitsuharu Misawa and Yoshinari Ogawa defeated Jado and Gedo in 16:02 when Mitsuharu Misawa defeated Jado by pinfall with a Tiger Driver.

Mitsuharu Misawa carried the match in terms of in-ring performance.

Rating: 79 B

In a bout that had great wrestling and good heat, Kenta Kobashi and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi defeated Nobuhiko Takada and Takao Omori in 17:30 when Tsuyoshi Kikuchi defeated Takao Omori by pinfall with a Fireball Bomb.

Takao Omori was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

Rating: 77 B

Kobashi facing members of Sternness was as brutal as he was against Gedo and Jado, Kikuchi getting the pin was probably for the best as Takada was getting forearmed away by Kobashi.

In a superb match, Minoru Suzuki and Kazushi Sakuraba defeated Takeshi Morishima and Yoshihiro Takayama in 18:44 when Minoru Suzuki defeated Yoshihiro Takayama by pinfall with a Gotch-Style Piledriver.

Rating: 84 B+

In a superb match, Jun Akiyama and Owen Hart defeated Vader and Johnny Ace in 21:34 when Jun Akiyama defeated Vader by pinfall with an Exploder.

Johnny Ace was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

Rating: 82 B

Quick Idea I've thought of before any predictions get in, I will actually give some rewards for whoever predicts the most matches in the tournament currently.

1st Place will get to pick the next challenger for the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship after Minoru Suzuki
2nd place will get to decide the next person I sign and I will commit to pushing them as best I can
and 3rd place will get to decide one factionless person to join any faction of their choosing

This way I can get the readers more involved and hopefully get everyone a tad bit more interested in giving predictions.
