The year is 1998, as we walk into the 25 year of operation for AJPW, it appears as if the guard may be shifting from an injury prone Mitsuharu Misawa to Orange Crush, Kenta Kobashi. With Kobashi winning the Champion Carnival for the first time, and officially laying out the challenge to Mitsuharu Misawa for the special 25th Anniversary Show in the Tokyo Dome, and then defeating him to become Triple Crown Champion for a second time. It could very well be time for Kenta Kobashi to take his spot as the ace of AJPW. Also, with Jun Akiyama's viscous turn on Kobashi at the end of the Super Power Series, could it be his time to break away from being the "5th man" of AJPW and becoming the Triple Crown Champion himself? AJPW is at the top of the world right now, after selling out the Dome and Kobashi's reign already seeing to help with ticket sales overall without him even defending the belt yet, it's obvious that AJPW is heading in the right direction. Hopefully we can continue to Walk the King's Road and follow AJPW as it continues to led the way in terms of storytelling inside a wrestling ring!

He actually didn't, but in my save I've been running for a couple months I was able to get him from WWE.

I've pretty much came up with all my plans for this Dynasty, instead of showing entire tours, I will do Tour Finals only as too not bore myself or bore the readers. I will make exceptions for Champion Carnival, or if I need to tell a story in multiple tour days. My first tour is of course the Dynamite Series, so I'll probably do another press conference to confirm all the matches for that event as well as explain my reasoning for all the matches. I'm very excited to be starting this and I'm happy about the positive feedback I have gotten so far!

Press Conference to Confirm all the matches for the Dynamite Series Finale!
Giant Baba would step into the room, smiling at the reporters and speaking clearly into the mic to announce the card.
"Hello everyone! We are here today to announce all the matches for the final day of the Dynamite Series, as well as allow the press to give questions to Kenta Kobashi and Toshiaki Kawada regarding their main event match!"
The Press would begin to take pictures and look at Baba as he pulled out a small piece of paper.
"The card will go as follows. Kenta Kobashi vs Toshiaki Kawada for the Triple Crown Championship, as stated earlier, Kawada pinned Kobashi, Kobashi challenged, Kawada accepted, Jun Akiyama vs Tsuyoshi Kikuchi, requested by Kikuchi after Akiyama's assault on Kobashi at the end of the Super Power Series, Hayabusa will defend this Junior Heavyweight Championship against Maunakea Mossman due to him pinning him on day 1 of the tour, Owen Hart vs Akira Taue, Taue was also upset at the attack on Kobashi due to it taking away from his defense, so he requested to face Owen, Nobuhiko Takada, Jado, and Gedo of Sternness will take on Steve Williams, Takeshi Morishima, and Yoshihiro Takayama Mitsuharu Misawa and Yoshinari Ogawa vs Stan Hansen and Vader, Misawa requested this match, he says he needs to get back in winning shape, and the Opener of Johnny Ace vs Tamon Honda"
(Post your pick em's down below!)
After Baba annouced the card, Kobashi and Kawada would walk in!
Kobashi and Kawada would shake hands and sit down, the reporter would first ask Kobashi a question.
"Kobashi, how confident do you feel with Kawada being your first defense"
"Well, Kawada here is an excellent opponent, I'm obviously a bit worried, seeing as how he pinned me in our last match, but I still believe I can defeat him."
"Kobashi, what is gameplan going into this match?"
"Well, I would tell you, but my opponent is sitting right besides me. I don't want him to know how I plan to beat em'!"
"Kobashi, are you worried about Jun Akiyama possibly coming out to attack you again"
"No. Jun wouldn't be dumb enough to come out in the middle of Triple Crown Title match, with Baba, Dory, and every member of staff, as well as all of Burning AND the Holy Demon Army there to defend me and Kawada."
The Press after Kobashi's statement would begin to ask Kawada a few questions as well.
"Kawada, you are Kobashi have a close record in singles matches, are you sure you can defeat Kobashi seemingly at his peak as champion?"
"I'm more than sure, Kobashi, you know I'll wrestle you as clean as I can, but we both know that knee of yours is in pretty bad shape. I'll attack it if I have to get the Triple Crown."
"Kawada, if you defeat Kobashi, who would your first challenger be?"
"My best friend and partner, Akira Taue. He has not been given a chance in quite some time, so I'd like to offer him that shot if I won the belt."
"Final Question Kawada, if you win the Triple Crown Title, you would become the a double champion, how would you balance defending the 2 belts?"
"I would simply defend them as anyone would, I would allow challengers to challenge for the Triple Crown on one tour, and the World Tag Team on the other, and if I had too, I would wrestle twice in one night!"
The conference would end shortly after, with Kawada and Kobashi once again shaking hands, taking some pictures, and signing off on the match.
