Event: AJPW World's Strongest Tag Determination League - Day 5 Date: Friday, December, Week 1, 1998 Attendance: 6,200 in Yokohoma Bunka Gymnasium (NO VACANCY!!!) Show Rating: 96 A*
The show starts off as per usual with the NTV sports march blasting
In a decent match, Sternness (Nobuhiko Takada, Takao Omori and Jado) defeated Jinsei Shinzaki, Jun Izumida and Maunakea Mossman in 10:10 when Nobuhiko Takada defeated Jun Izumida by pinfall.
In terms of in-ring work, Nobuhiko Takada was head and shoulders above everyone else. Jun Izumida was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.
Rating: 80 B
In a bout that had superb wrestling and good heat, Hayabusa and Yoshihiro Tajiri defeated Minoru Suzuki and Kazushi Sakuraba in 10:41 when Hayabusa defeated Kazushi Sakuraba by pinfall with a fast roll up.
In terms of in-ring work, Minoru Suzuki was head and shoulders above everyone else. Yoshihiro Tajiri was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.
Tajiri and Hayabusa are able to pin the undefeated team of Sakuraba and Suzuki with a quick roll up that Sakuraba had no answer for!!!
With this win, they techincally keep themselves alive in the tournament, but that can change very soon!!!
Rating: 83 B+
In a bout that had great heat and good wrestling, Vader and Johnny Ace defeated Kenta Kobashi and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi in 17:03 when Vader defeated Tsuyoshi Kikuchi by pinfall with a Power Bomb.
Kenta Kobashi carried the match in terms of in-ring performance.
Kobashi was inches from breaking the pin, but was stop by Johnny Ace. Kobashi starred down Vader post match until Vader walked off with his victory and now technical lead in the tournament!!!
Rating: 88 B+
In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Jun Akiyama and Owen Hart defeated Takeshi Morishima and Yoshihiro Takayama in 19:28 when Jun Akiyama defeated Takeshi Morishima by pinfall with an Exploder.
Takeshi Morishima was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.
Rating: 96 A*
In an exceptional match, Mitsuharu Misawa and Yoshinari Ogawa defeated Holy Demon Army in 22:48 when Mitsuharu Misawa defeated Akira Taue by pinfall with a Tiger Driver 91'.
Yoshinari Ogawa was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

"Hello everybody! I have came here today to announce all the matches for the 6th day of the World's Strongest Tag Determination League that will be held in the Tokyo Bay NK Hall
the main event will be Jun Akiyama and Owen Hart vs. Mitsuharu Misawa and Yoshinari Ogawa the co-main event will be Toshiaki Kawada and Akira Taue vs Nobuhiko Takeda and Takao Omori the 3rd match will be Vader and Johnny Ace vs Takeshi Morishima and Yoshihiro Takayama the 2nd match will be Kenta Kobashi and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi vs Hayabusa and Yoshihiro Tajiri and the opener will be Akira Maeda, Minoru Suzuki and Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Mighty Inoue, Rusher Kimura and Haruka Eigen
