In a bout that had terrible wrestling and non-existent crowd heat, “Das Wunderkind” Alex Wright defeated jobber Jack Victory in 4:41 by pinfall with a Hangman’s Neckbreaker.

Interview w/ The Rhodes
Gene Okerlund had an epic interview with Dusty and Dustin Rhodes hyping their feud with The Stud Stable. Dusty says that at Halloween Havoc, this thing with Colonel and his men ends one way or the other. The Rhodes will finally get revenge on the The Stud Stable and he refers to Colonel Parker and his men as a couple of dirty rotten scoundrels and dirty old egg sucking dogs. Dusty promise to make Colonel Parker “squeal like a pig” and also says that his son Dustin will settle the score with “that two timing, double crossing, no good overstuffed warthog Arn
Anderson”.

Spin The Wheel Make The Deal
On October 24, Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan will square off at Halloween Havoc. What kind of match will it be? Nobody will know until that night, when the wheel containing 12 different specialty matches will be spun. Here is a guide to bouts that will be included on that wheel:
I Quit Match: A match where the winner must make his opponent say the words “I Quit”.
Lumberjack Match: The ring is surrounded by wrestlers wielding leather straps to keep the competitors in the ring: pinfall or submission decides the winner.
Barbed-Wire Match: The ring ropes are draped with barbed-wire; pinfall or submission decides the winner.
Cage Match: The ring is surrounded by a steel cage; pinfall or submission decides the winner.
Texas Death Match: This match proceds until one man cannot continue; the other is declared the winner.
First Blood Match: The man who causes his opponent to bleed first is declared the winner.
Short Leash Match: The wrestlers are connected by a one to two foot “leash”. The only way to win is by knockout or submission.
Last Man Standing Match: A match which doesn’t end until one wrestler is so severely beaten that he is unable to answer a ten count.
Trick or Treat Match: This match begins with both opponents selecting one of two bags. The “treat” bag contains a weapon that can be used in the bout, the “trick” bag contains nothing but candy!
Texas Hangman Match: The Texas Hangman match has dog collars hung on the ring ropes. In order to win the match a wrestler has to hang their opponent from one of the collars until they can no longer continue.
Straitjacket Match: A match, where the only object is to beat your opponent to the point that you can secure him in a straitjacket. As an added stipulation, many straitjacket matches allow for a five minute beating of the loser.
Spinner’s Choice: The spinner of the wheel gets to choose the match from the 11 available match types.

“Mean” Gene Okerlund interview Col. Robert Parker, Arn Anderson and Meng. Col. Parker is puffing his cigar, with a big grin on his face and says that one way or the other he will defeat Dusty. Parker says that he did warn
Dusty and Dustin; at Halloween Havoc, Dusty and his no good son will get what they deserve. It’s the end of The Rhodes, then the Colonel while develope a business plan to once again make The Stud Stable a top stable with only “Elite Wrestlers”. Terry Funk, Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater have been cut and are no longer part of The Stud Stable. Col. Parker will be scouting the “Free Agent Market” for available muscle for hire after Halloween Havoc.

In a open bout that had great wrestling and good heat, fan favorite Sting defeated “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton in 9:45 by submission with a Scorpion Deathlock.

Gene Okerlund had an interview with Sting hyping his upcoming singles match with John Tenta.
“John Tenta and Jimmy Hart, you said you were gonna take out The Hulkster. You said that Hulk never will wrestle again. You injured Brian Blair and Terry Taylor.
You made a big mistake when you started messing with Sting and all the little Stingers. So now the time has come. Tenta, if you think you’re invincible. You’re going to feel the wrath of the Stinger!” AAAOOOWW!

In a bout that had superb wrestling and good heat, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat defeated “Lord” Steven Regal in 15:39 by pinfall with a surprise roll up. Ricky Steamboat makes defence number 3 of his WCW United States Championship title.
After the match we had Japanese superstar The Great Muta run in and challenging Steamboat. He wants a title shot at Halloween Havoc and “The Dragon” accepts.
