Winner Enters Royal Rumble
Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show with Paul Heyman
Winner: Brock Lesnar at 6:15
Result: We start off with the Rumble qualifier in a match that Show overpowers Lesnar for a lot of. Chops, clotheslines, slams, all the works. Lesnar eventually reverses a powerbomb by getting out of it and hitting a belly to belly suplex, then follows it up with a German Suplex. Lesnar is looking to end it when Heyman gets on the apron. Brock doesn't hesitate and throws Paul in. Brock lifts him up for an F5, but Show starts to choke him. One huge Chokeslam later and Brock manages to kick out! A shocked Show and Paul share eye contact as the giant goes for another one. Brock gets out of it and hits a HUGE F5 to put the giant away.
Afterwards, Brock starts to celebrate before he is attacked from behind by a chair. Lesnar turns around and finds a chair into his ribs, then a Big Boot by Test. Test hits a pump handle slam to Brock onto the chair. Show recovers enough to hit a Chokeslam to Lesnar through the Spanish announce table. Brock sells his ribs as Test, Show, and Heyman walk away with smiles.
------------------
Before the next match, we go backstage where Terri Runnels is having an interview with Jericho. She tells Jericho that Brock is now in the Rumble and mentions that Jericho is as well. She brings up that he had the opportunity to choose his number and he chose number one. Jericho mentions that Shawn Michaels made history by going from number one to the end of the match. Anything Shawn can do, Chris can do better. I mean...there's one thing that Y2J has that Shawn can never claim: he beat The Rock and Steve Austin in the same match to become the first ever Undisputed Champion. He rose to the occasion then and he's going to rise to the occasion tonight by tossing out guys one-by-one...from number one...until he is...the one...to go to WrestleMania and become the World Champion...a-gain.
We then get a brief recap of what happened last Monday on Raw, showcasing the beatdown to the Dudleys and how Morley, Regal, Storm, 3 Minute Warning, and Rico put Bubba and D-von through tables.

World Tag Team Titles
The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-von Dudley) (C) vs. Lance Storm and William Regal
Winner: The Dudley Boyz at 11:26
Result: This match is back and forth for a while with the Dudleys seemingly having Storm and Regal's number. Things change when an ill timed WHASSUP ends with a D-von hitting the mat and Bubba sent out of the ring. After putting the hurtin to D-von via holds and locks that wear him down, D-von manages to catch a Superkick from Storm and hit an inverted lifting DDT. He makes the tag and Bubba starts taking it to Regal and Storm. Bubba is distracted as Sean Morley runs out. He distracts the ref long enough for Regal to attempt a Power of the Punch to D-von. The Dudleys hit a 3D to Regal as D-von grabs the knucks. He blasts Storm and then Regal with them. He hides the knucks in his pants before securing the win and keeping the titles.
After the match, D-von and Bubba hit a 3D to Morley. With the crowd's support, they get the tables. Bubba hits a top rope powerbomb to Morley through the table with King telling the world that there's going to be hell to pay for that.

WWE Women's Title in a Triple Threat Match
Victoria (C) with Steven Richards vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie-Wilson
Winner: Victoria at 7:35
Result: Torrie and Dawn start off the match being violent to each other with Victoria happy to sit aside. At about the 4 minute mark, she interrupts a mostly well executed spinebuster to Dawn that looks like it might be the end. She sends Torrie into the turnbuckle and starts to clean house over both women. Dawn then saves Torrie from a Widow's Peak and the two double team Victoria for a bit. They hit a Double Suplex and look to be okay with each other. Dawn then blasts Torrie in the face, sending her out of the ring. Dawn tries to cover Victoria, who kicks out. Dawn slaps Victoria, who smiles and starts to overpower her. On the outside, Torrie tries to interfere, but is pulled down by Steven and blasted with a Stevie-Kick, much to Cole and Tazz's anger. Victoria hits a spinning side slam to Dawn before ending it with a Widow's Peak.
------------------
Before the next match, we see Stephanie McMahon walking the halls of the Fleet Center. She stops when she see Eric Bischoff talking to a recently recovered Randy Orton. She throws him a little smile and handshake but Eric puts a stop to it real quick. Stephanie says that she came to tell him that WrestleMania is the biggest event of the year...and that Raw has had it's time in the sun. Now...SmackDown! is going to find itself main eventing a WrestleMania. Eric starts to laugh, but when Stephanie doesn't join him, he realizes she's serious. He then tells her that the day that SmackDown! main events WrestleMania...is the day that Austin and Rock both retire. Eric starts to question Stephanie's sanity before deciding that Raw isn't worth fighting her over...because Raw will be here long after she isn't.

World Heavyweight Title
Kurt Angle (C) with Paul Heyman vs. Scott Steiner
Winner: Kurt Angle at 17:00
Result: The match isn't great. It's not a 5 star classic, but it isn't the worst thing ever, mostly put down to Steiner's ring rust and what appears to be a nagging injury. Steiner starts off by overpowering Kurt with clotheslines and suplexes. An irate Kurt eventually stops and talks with Heyman about strategies. Scott isn't having that and goes after him. Kurt intercepts Scott and hits a German Suplex to put him down. As Scott starts to get back into it, Paul gets on the apron. Scott is distracted enough for Kurt to chop block his ankle. Kurt works on that for a sizeable portion of the match before locking in an Ankle Lock. Scott holds on though and shoves Kurt away, sending him into the ref. Team Angle run out and start to lay the beating to Big Poppa Pump. Paul hands a chair over to Kurt, who blasts Scott in the back with it before chop blocking him with it. With a wounded foot, Scott kicks out of another triple team attempt. He clotheslines everybody in sight, before sending Team Angle out of the ring with separate belly-to-belly suplexes. Scott goes for butterfly suplex, but Kurt low blows him, hitting an Angle Slam. The ref comes to, but Scott kicks out. Kurt lowers the straps and goes for an Ankle Lock. Scott kicks Kurt away and then hits a reverse STO to take Kurt down. Angle kicks out and Scott locks in the Steiner Recliner. Paul distracts the ref as Kurt taps out. Scott grabs Paul's tie and goes for a punch. However, a well timed chop block sends Scott to the mat. Kurt locks in an Ankle Lock. Scott tries to get to the ropes, but Kurt brings it back. Scott eventually has no choice but to tap out.
------------------
Right after the last match ends with Scott being helped to the back to the crowd's applause, we go backstage where we see Rob Van Dam stretching himself. Booker T then walks into camera and the two start talking about tonight and who they feel is going to walk away the winner. Booker tells Rob that he might like him, that they might even be friends, but tonight...Booker is gonna do what it takes to walk away the winner. Rob agrees and tells him to do what he has to, but to make no mistake...the winner will be Rob--Van--Dam. Booker tells him he can dig that...sucka.

WWE Title in a 3 Stages of Hell Match (1. Street Fight, 2. Falls Count Anywhere, 3. Ladder Match)
Shawn Michaels (C) vs. Triple H with Ric Flair
Winner: Triple H at 35:25
Result: 1. The first match is a brutal affair that sees both men bleeding before too long. Even Flair joins in on the fun when he is blasted with a chair by Shawn. They exchange weapon shots galore before eventually, Shawn hits Sweet Chin Music to Flair, who was on the apron, sending him through a table on the outside of the ring. Shawn turns around into a sledgehammer to the face and a Pedigree to net the first fall.
2. Things only heat up from there with the fight continuing around the arena. They reach the stage where Triple H pulls out a barbed wire 2x4 from the back. He nails Shawn in the back with it, but that only gets a two. Triple H turns it up when he sets the board on fire. He goes for another shot, but Shawn low blows him. Hunter is then nailed in the face with the barbed wire 2x4 on fire, but that also nets a two. They fight throughout the crowd, all around the arena (including a crossbody from a high point to Hunter) before making their way back to the stage. Eventually, Triple H hits a Spinebuster onto the steel, but HBK kicks out. Hunter sets up table, but isn't prepared by HBK to fight back with a lead pipe. He blasts Hunter a few times with it before setting him on the table. HBK then climbs onto the titantron using the metal trusses as a ladder. He hits an elbow drop from up there through the table. The ref counts the three.
3. Shawn makes his way back to the ring, bringing in a ladder for good measure. Before he can do anything, Flair blows him and handcuffs him to the ropes. With a smirk, Flair taunts him with the keys before helping HHH return to the ring. As HHH starts to slowly climb up the ladder, Michaels kicks a distracted Flair in the balls before stealing the keys and freeing himself. He then tips the ladder over, sending HHH into the ropes and rebounding right into a Sweet Chin Music. HBK sets the ladder up once again, but Flair low blows HBK from behind once more, stopping the climb and sending him back-first into the mat. Flair locks in a Figure 4 as Triple H grabs his sledgehammer. He blasts HBK in the face whilst still in the hold. HHH and Flair taunt and slap HBK before the Nature Boy sets up four tables on the outside. HHH hits a Pedigree and does the cross chop to HBK before starting to climb. HBK grabs HHH's boot, and a prideful Hunter steps down. He beats on HBK a bit before going for his sledgehammer. HBK dodges and hits Sweet Chin Music. Flair enters and suffers a similar fate. HBK starts to climb, but doesn't account for HHH to use the sledgehammer as leverage to push the ladder over, sending HBK out through the four tables Flair had set-up. HHH climbs up and regains his WWE Title.
After the match, Flair helps Triple H to the back whilst Shawn decides against using a stretcher.
------------------
Before the next match, we head backstage where we see Steve Austin pondering and thinking in the locker room. He takes a sip of a beer as the door behind him (as seen in the mirror) knocks and opens. A random backstage hand tells Austin that it's time. Austin finishes the beer and stands up. The camera follows him leaving before turning to see a card that says "See ya soon - Rocky", which the crowd explodes in cheers and boos.

Royal Rumble Match
As mentioned earlier, Chris Jericho is the first draw. However, when Shawn Michaels' music hits, you'll be remiss if you didn't know. It looks like it is until we see Jericho coming out with a smirk. It then switches to his music and regular entrance.
The second draw is Diamond Dallas Page, who comes out with a cheer from the crowd. The crowd is excited as the two start off by locking up and exchanging shoves and taunts. Eventually, Jericho goes for a suplex which Page reverses into a Diamond Cutter.
Once 90 seconds pass, Billy Gunn enters at number three. He enters like a house of fire until he also takes a Diamond Cutter. Page then tries to eliminate Jericho, but Jericho holds on. This continues for a bit until Jericho elbows out and hits a bulldog and Lionsault to DDP. Jericho beats on Gunn a bit as the clock winds down.
Number four is Rey Mysterio who comes out and wastes no time taking it to both Gunn and Y2J. Eventually, one clothesline by Gunn later and he starts to dominate. He goes for a Suplex, but Page hits him in the gut, allowing Rey to reverse it into a DDT.
Entrant five is Edge who enters the ring and immediately reunites his team with Rey to put down Jericho and Gunn. Page joins in and celebrates with them before going for a Diamond Cutter to Edge. Edge pushes him away, leading into a hurricanrana to Page that sends him to the apron. He holds on, allowing Edge to Spear him to the floor.
DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Page smirks at Edge and Rey for a bit, giving them props before warning them too late about Jericho and Gunn's blindside. Mysterio is nearly thrown over the top turnbuckle by Jericho, but Rey holds onto the post to save himself.
Entrant number six is Christian, who runs into the ring and immediately joins in on the ruckus. Gunn takes him down with a clothesline and then starts punching Rey and Edge. Gunn starts to taunt, which is long enough for him to be drop kicked from behind by Rey, sending him into perfect position for a Spear. As Gunn recovers, Christian and Jericho resume trying to eliminate Rey and Edge.
Nobody in the ring pays heed to Chavo Guererro who runs out as the next draw. Chavo immediately falls victim to a 619 after failing to attack Rey. A Seated Senton then takes Chavo out as Edge tells Rey to nail a 619 to Christian. He manages to do so, but as he goes for a West Coast Pop, Christian dodges, managing to nail Gunn. Rey holds on long enough and hits a hurricanrana to send Gunn to the floor.
BILLY GUNN HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Rey stares on as he realizes how close his feet were. He turns around just in time for Jericho to clothesline him over the top and to the floor.
REY MYSTERIO HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
The clock winds down and Matt Hardy enters next with Shannon Moore. Jericho and Christian to take to him, but two quick Side Effects put them down. Chavo then attacks Matt, putting him down with a suplex. Chavo goes for a Gory Bomb, but Matt reverses it into a Twist of Fate. While this happens, Jericho and Christian continue double teaming Edge.

Up next at 9 is Chris Benoit! Benoit enters the ring and start taking it to everybody in sight, nailing them all down with German Suplexes. Matt rushes forward, allowing him to suffer a German Suplex as well. Matt, however, lands on his feet. He goes for a Twist of Fate, but Benoit ducks, turning Matt inside out and leaving him prone to be tossed over the top. Unfortunately, Matt hangs on. Things break down further as Benoit starts to chop everybody. Benoit stands in the ring, pumped as the clock winds down.
Number 10 is Booker T! He comes out to another thunderous pop as he hits the ring. He and Benoit have a staredown that lasts for a bit until Jericho and Christian try to intervene. They are put down with a Triple German Suplex and Book End respectively. Booker and Benoit then start to rail into each other for a good bit. Booker goes for a Book End, but Benoit elbows out, nailing a Dragon Suplex that pops JR. Chavo tries to intercede, but is only nailed with one of his own. Benoit does the cutthroat, but is interrupted by Edge before he can go up top.
Up at 11 is Test who runs out and immediately Big Boots Benoit, Booker, Edge, Jericho, and Christian. When he Big Boots Chavo it sends the Guerrero over and to the floor.
CHAVO GUERRERO HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Test celebrates a bit before the ruckus begins anew with all those in the ring trying to eliminate Jericho, only to find himself victim of a Spear by Edge. Booker goes for a Scissors Kick, but Edge dodges it, hitting a Spear to him as well. Benoit goes for a German Suplex, but Edge holds on and hits an Edgecution to him. Edge tosses Jericho over the top, but he holds on. As Y2J skins the cat, Edge and Christian start to brawl near the ropes. Once Y2J is back in, he tosses out both Edge and Christian!
EDGE AND CHRISTIAN HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED
The four left in the ring each pick a corner, electing to wait a bit before starting.
This leads to number 12 entering: Rob Van Dam! He starts taking it to three of the four, leaving no men safe. Booker dodges a kick once it reaches him and the two start fighting around the ring. One kick later and Booker is on the mat, allowing RVD to hit a Rolling Thunder. RVD exits through the middle rope and heads up top. He goes for a Five Star Frog Splash, nailing Booker.
