WWF St. Valentine's Day Massacre: In Your House
Date: February 14, 1999 Location: Memphis, Tennessee - Pyramid Arena Mankind defeats Steve Austin on the February 1st edition of Raw to become the new WWF Champion, thanks to interference by Vince McMahon and his son Shane. Austin wants revenge on the McMahons in the worst way and he doesn't care how he gets it and how it unfolds. Vince seizes the opportunity to challenge Austin to a match at St. Valentine's Day Massacre and appoints his son Shane as the special guest referee for the match. Meanwhile, Vince mandates The Big Show to get the WWF title back into The Corporation in a Steel Cage Match in the main event of the show. On the same night, Hayabusa defeats Taka Michinoku to win the Light Heavyweight Championship and will defend the title against Brian Christopher at St. Valentine's Day Massacre. The Dudley Boyz make their official WWF debut in the buildup to the show and rekindles their ECW rivalry with the Hardyz.

William Regal beat Al Snow on Raw on August 9th to capture his first European Championship and will defend against former champ X-Pac. The Hardy Boyz beat The New Age Outlaws the night after Fully Loaded on Raw to regain the Tag Team Championship and they'll defend against their arch-rivals The Dudley Boyz at Summerslam. Sable regains the title from Ivory and defends against Chyna at Summerslam. Bret Hart also makes his WWF return in the summer of 1999 and rekindles his rivalry with Stone Cold Steve Austin. While Mr. McMahon is never angry about seeing the both of them tear each other apart, he still isn't pleased to see Bret back in the company and who knows what he'll do in this match...

Christian defeats his brother Edge on the September 19th edition of Sunday Night Heat to win the Intercontinental Championship, with Edge invoking his rematch clause for Unforgiven. D-Lo Brown beats X-Pac on Raw on August 30th to regain the European Championship and defends against Al Snow. One week later on Raw, The Hardy Boyz regain their tag titles from The Dudley Boyz and the titles are put on the line in a Ladder match for Unforgiven. Trish Stratus debuts after Summerslam and eager to prove herself, challenges Chyna to a Women's title match at Unforgiven. Meanwhile, Raven makes his WWF debut after Summerslam, capturing the Hardcore Championship from Al Snow and defends it on his first WWF PPV appearance against The Big Show. Following the controversial finish of his match with Bret Hart at Summerslam in Toronto, Stone Cold Steve Austin settles his score with Mr. McMahon in a No Holds Barred Match in the main event of Unforgiven.

A chaotic week between Unforgiven and the Rebellion UK PPV leads to a dramatic shift in the title picture on the various WWF shows: The Rock beats Kane to regain the WWF Championship and defends against Chris Jericho; Jeff Jarrett beats Christian to win the Intercontinental Championship and will defend against Road Dogg; William Regal regains the European Championship from D-Lo Brown and defends against Dustin Rhodes, who has forsaken his Goldust character, going into "the righteous path"; Big Show & Undertaker defeat the Hardy Boyz to win the tag titles and will defend them against the duo of Shane McMahon & Test. The lead-up to Rebellion also saw the WWF debuts of Molly Holly and Daffney as they'll join Jacqueline to take on Sable, Tori & Debra in a 6-Women Tag to kick off the Rebellion PPV.
