Following his victory at Unforgiven over the WWF Champion The Rock, Triple H gets his shot at the WWF Championship and wins it on the October 5th edition of Smackdown, heading into a confrontation with Stone Cold Steve Austin. But he can thank Rikishi, who turned on The Rock to allow The Game to get the victory. As a result, The Rock will take on Rikishi in an I Quit Match at No Mercy. Following their refusal to quit at Summerslam, Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit will now face off in a Submission Match at No Mercy.
