In a superb match, Toshiaki Kawada defeated Johnny Ace in 10:37 by pinfall with a Backdrop Driver.
The key word of Kawada's tournament has been focus, and even with Tamon Honda trying to get involved, Kawada never lost his focus and backdropped Ace on his head for a quick win. Offically taking the lead in his block.
Rating: 76 B-
After the match, Kawada took a mic, seeming a bit annoyed.
"HEY MISAWA, MANAGEMENT, ANYBODY IN THE BACK?! MRS BABA?! LITERALLY ANYBODY PLEASE GET OUT HERE!"
This is a bit of a weird request from Kawada, but soon enough his rival, Mitsuharu Misawa comes out...
Kawada looks at Misawa. Before bringing his mic back up.
"Can you explain to me why Jun and his group can constanly interfere in this tournament?"
Misawa looks at Kawada and before he can get his mic up, Kawada interrupts him.
"As a matter of fact, why does Jun have permission to bring out anybody, Or Owen? Ace? Takeda? Omori? All they've done is get involved in matches and even beat up Kobashi after a match. Ya know, it's already pissing all us off."
Misawa sighs at Kawada. Before raising his mic up.
"Kawada you have to understand, I'm dealing with Jun the best I ca-"
"THE BEST YOU CAN?! DIDN'T YOU LITERALLY LOST TO HIM A FEW MONTHS AGO CLEAN? WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE MISAWA!!!"
Misawa stood in silence, with Kawada keeping on his rant.
"This entire Carnival, I've been one of the front runners, and I still have to deal with this garbage, because I also have to second for Taue! And we're in the same damn block!"
"Look Kawada how about this? Jun wrestles next ok? If he brings out any member of Sternness against Morishima he loses? Alright? It'll also go to any Sternness member in these last few days."
"That should have been a rule day 1 of the tournament. Asshole."
With that, Kawada walks out and leaves Misawa sighing as he walks out afterwards."
In an exceptional match, Jun Akiyama drew with Takeshi Morishima in 30:00 when the time limit expired.
Jun came out alone and Morishima fought with everything he had and drew with Jun!!! Morishima and Akiyama now tie to lead the block at 11 Points Each!!!
Afterwards, Akiyama is furious and grabs a mic, quickly saying.
"YOU WANNA TAKE AWAY BY GROUP YOU BASTARDS?! YOU WANT TO GIVE ME A HANDICAP NOBODY ELSE HAS?! I WON'T STAND FOR THIS, MARK MY WORDS MISAWA SOMEONE IS GONNA PAY!!!"
Rating: 95 A*
In an exceptional match, Mitsuharu Misawa defeated Owen Hart in 17:46 by pinfall with a Tiger Driver.
Owen just looked worse than usual without Gedo and Jado even if they have cost him, he couldn't even gas the overworked Misawa in this bout. With Misawa having his first match that isn't long as hell.
Misawa also looked a bit more focused without having to deal with the Sternness, noticing the positive effect his decision had...
Rating: 90 A
In an exceptional match, Kenta Kobashi defeated Yoshinari Ogawa in 23:09 by pinfall with an Orange Crush.
