The idea of having Californication in a Misawa vs. Kobashi pre-match promo is hilarious. That being said, the main event was ridiculously good and it's going to be MOTY without a question. Happy to see Kobashi win. I'm also curious to where Sterness will go now... the star power of your roster is immense, I'd also love to see you getting another championship, maybe in the lines of the NEVER Openweight title from 2014-17.

Time to announce the next tour!
Taking his new role as Chairmen of the PWF, from here on, Stan will announce the tours and match cards, he just needed a few months to get into the swing of it post retirement.
Misawa is of course still the chairmen of AJPW itself, but has no authority over title bouts and matches themselves, all that will fall of Hansen now as a way to push AJPW to being #1 in Japan, which they hope to accomplish with the Dome Show.
"Howdy everyone! With the Champion Carnival coming to an end, we now have one more set of shows before we can get to the Tokyo Dome, our next tour, which has been named the "Dream Series." It'll be will be a quick 3 show tour, where we will go to Korakuen Hall, Ryōgoku Kokugikan, and then the Nippon Budokan!
During this tour, as I already explained, on night 1, 4 teams will compete to see who's gonna face Kobashi and Kikuchi for the All Asia Tag Titles. Those teams being Nobuhiko Takada and Takao Omori Masanobu Fuchi and Masao Inoue Yoshinari Ogawa and Yoshihiro Tajiri Minoru Suzuki and Kazushi Sakuraba.
on Day 2, we will decide the Number 1 Contender for the Junior Heavyweight Title in a Battle Royal between Masanobu Fuchi, Yoshinari Ogawa, Tsuyoshi Kikuchi, Jado (Gedo was recently hurt on an FMW show), Yoshihiro Tajiri, Jinsei Shinzaki, Yoshinabu Kanemaru, 2 new signees to AJPW, and a Junior Heavyweight Legend! Keep all this in mind as we get geared up as we are on the Road to the Tokyo Dome!
Then on day 3, we will finalize the tour in our home turf before we bring our brand of wrestling to the biggest venue possible!
We hope to see ya'll during this tour!"

I'm positive Suzuki and Sakuraba will win the little tournament. I'm also curious to see who's that damn new signee! Maybe it's Taka Michinoku or something. About the legend? Hmmm, Shiro Koshinaka?

Event: AJPW Dream Series - Day 1 (Korakuen Hall) Date: Monday, April, Week 4, 1999 Attendance: 2,000 in Korakuen Hall (NO VACANCY!!!) TV Rating: 7.65 (5,739,070 viewers) on Nippon TV Show Rating: 84 B+
Post match
Gary and Vader are brawling around the arena before Vader grabs a mic and yells down it!!!
"DAMN YOU ALBRIGHT, I'M STILL THE BIGGEST AND BADDEST MOTHER****ER IN AJPW AND I'M GONNA RECLAIM MY TITLE IN THE DAMN TOKYO DOME!!!"
Gary nods at him pointing to him as the 2 are held apart by security.
Afterwards, Mossman and Hayabusa are left in the ring as Hayabusa gets back up to his feet after the loss.
Mossman takes a mic, before looking around for a moment, he has just pinned the Junior Champion, but isn't in the match for tomorrow night...?
"So, I'm just gonna make a simple request, after pinning you, I should be added to the title match the Dome, making it a Triple Threat!!!"
With his statement said, a familar theme blasts throughout Korakuen.
"Welp then boys, it seems like everyone has made their peace already and I think I agree with it, so it's settled! Mossman will be added to the Tokyo Junior Title Match and Vader will take on Gary Albright!"
With his statement made, the PWF Chairmen leaves. As everyone clears the ring for the next match. In a bout that had great wrestling and good heat, Mitsuharu Misawa and Osamu Nishimura defeated Owen Hart and Johnny Ace in 16:53 when Mitsuharu Misawa defeated Johnny Ace by pinfall with a Tiger Driver.
During the match, Misawa's blows with Owen got very, very intense, and it's clear the Misawa's treatement of Sternness has rubbed him the wrong way.
Misawa has had previous beef with Nobuhiko Takada as well, but this one seemed a lot more personal somewhat... Rating: 86 B+
In a bout that had great wrestling and good heat, Kenta Kobashi and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi defeated Jun Akiyama and Tamon Honda in 20:20 when Kenta Kobashi defeated Tamon Honda by pinfall with a Burning Lariat
Jun and Kobashi never touched during the match as Jun would always tag out, still, Kobashi pointed at the Triple Crown post match and simply said
"You got 1 week."
Making Jun leave in annoyance as he is still unable to get an advantage due to Misawa's ruleset.
Rating: 84 B+ In a bout that had superb wrestling and good heat, Takeshi Morishima defeated Akira Taue in 23:22 by pinfall.
Rating: 84 B+
In a bout that had superb wrestling and good heat, Minoru Suzuki and Kazushi Sakuraba defeated Nobuhiko Takada and Takao Omori in 24:35 when Minoru Suzuki defeated Nobuhiko Takada by pinfall with a Gotch-Style Piledriver.
Takada and Omori fall short to Suzuki and Sakuraba, which isn't shocking considering Sakuraba's recent MMA win.
Minoru Suzuki and Kazushi Sakuraba become Number 1 Contenders for the All Asia Tag Team Championship.Rating: 88 B+
Post match
After the match, Suzuki grabs a mic as the crowd cheers him for defeating another Sternness team, he rains in the cheefs before shushing the crowd for a moment.
"Kobashi, Kikuchi, in the Budokan, you better be ready, because trust me, me and Sakuraba have a BIG suprise that nobody in AJPW is ready for."
A cryptic threat(?)from Suzuki to close out night 1 of the Dream Series, 2 more shows until we arrive at the Tokyo Dome!
